DuluxWeather Shield Quick Dry Undercoat Paint, 750 ml - White

Good paint, good coverage. Applied during a prolonged warm, dry spell. I found that if my paint brush was to be effectively cleaned after painting an intricate surface, I had to set a timer and switch paint brushes after 15 to 20 minutes, plunging the previous paint brush into water to avoid the brush becoming unrecyclable. Not a big issue once I eealised and I am pleased with the result.

Weathershield is more expensive than others , but it is so easy to apply ,lasts on wood longer and simple to clean brushes .

Just built a new cabinet for my Arctic Spa hot-tub and wanted the best paint for it, so was led to Dulux Weathershield by other reviews; bought both the primer and gloss to ensure success. Surprised how incredibly thick the paint was, but perservered, applying FIVE coats in total, to brand-new treated timber. Very disappointed to find dreadful staining coming through within weeks (see photo), so now redone with traditional oil-based trade gloss. Water-based paint easy to clean, but just doesn't do the job - avoid!

I haven't used this product yet but have always found Dulux paints to be excellent in the past.

I've used Dulux trade gloss before and it really is a case of 'you only get what you pay for'.I used this undercoat before I put the similar gloss on top. Great colour and it applies great. The gloss however is a different story. It's not as good.Dries darker
