Burgess Excel Mountain Meadow Herbs Snacks 120 g (Pack of 5)

My latest rescue rabbit - spent 3 years in a TINY hutch!! she had issues with her droppings due to lack of roughage as her gut flora was out of balance. Resulting in huge smelly soft droppings. The Vet was unable to assist as it was purely down to diet, recommending a selection of various tasty quality hays, and to cut out starch i.e. fresh apple, carrot, only small handful greens, and only an 'eggcup size' of Excell nuggets daily, to encourage foraging for hay. However, this new diet did help, but ONLY when I introduced a daily handful of Excel Nature Country Garden Herbs did the soft 'patties' complete vanish, replaced by normal droppings. I write this to help advise rabbits owners who, become quite desperate, so please try this for a few months before having the rabbit put to sleep! as is so often the case.

I've fed this product to my Degus for about 8 months now and they absolutely love it! I also buy Excel Nature Snacks Country Garden Herbs 120 g (Pack of 5) every other month instead to give my Degus a bit more of a variety (eg. I would buy Country Garden Herbs for one month, then I would buy Mountain Meadow Herbs the next, and keep rotating them). I also ensure my Degus have a constant supply of Excel Herbage Dandelion & Marigold as well (which they also love, which is good because they can be really picky about their hay!).It's really good value for money to buy these in packs of 5 too because prices differ wherever you go, especially if you buy them from the high street as individual packs. A pack of 5 lasts my 3 Degus just under a month and I give them a handful each per day alongside 4-5g each of a Degu specific mix of seeds I buy elsewhere online.Overall really happy with the product, so long as my Degus enjoy eating it, I'll continue to buy it!

Pack of five of the country garden herbs arrived in a branded box within the amazon box, making storage easy. Was also utilised as a play toy by the chinchillas.Opening the packets, the herbs smelt very minty, almost like fresh peppermint tea and caught the attention of the chinchillas immediately. Also makes their cage smell nice! Good variety of big and small bits of herbs. Product holds it's freshness for a while and can be mixed with hay or sprinkled on pellets. Cheaper than buying them separately and very high quality.

This pack works out to be a great price, especially given the quality! My guinea pig absolutely loves the herbs, and runs around his cage popcorning with excitement whenever he hears me open the tub I have put them in. I tend to sprinkle some around his hay when his cage is cleaned out, and put a little bit on his food every few days. he really loves them, and doesn't leave a thing! They smell absolutely lovely and I have put them on subscription so that I never run out. I don't think Barnaby would forgive me if he had to go without.

The rabbits LOVE this. Whilst they will ocassionally leave other treats untouched they ALWAYS eat this and they get it on a daily basis . Either on it's own but we also "spike" their hay with it.As it's just dried meadow flowers etc. it's also not a treat in the sense of those unhealthy sugar and seed ladden high calorie , low nutrient chew sticks, so you can give a lot of it without doing any damage and they love it just as much as the unhealthy stuff if not more.They also really like the excel hays and kibble.

My rabbits absolutely love their garden herbs, given to them as a supplement to their hay. They have their herbs as "supper" and get their heads into the packet to help themselves if I'm not careful! They demolish them very quickly and even I think that they smell nice although I haven't been tempted to try them myself!The herbs come well-packed and in individual packets so I can keep an eye on how much I'm using. I actually have this on a "subscribe and save" deal as I think my bunnies would be most upset if I ran out!

i buy this pretty regularly, but bunny loves it and will eat a bag under a week if i let him. grate product would recommend to rabbit owners .. only thing to watch out for is one of my buns didn't get on very well with the artichoke, he ate too much too fast when he was new to it and got a bit of a bad tummy, always ration new rabbit foods!

these are great quality, my only problem is quite allot of the bag is large twigs that my rabbit won't eat. she goes mad for some regardless. my rabbit has tummy problems and dental spurs, so a rabbit specialist advised me to only feed dry food. ( hay and dried weeds) so I feed this instead of pellets and veg
