Green Clear are a Premium Brand UV Bulb, Not to be Confused with many cheaper versions on the market! UV lamps used for sterilisation purposes should be replaced every 6 months ( approx 4000 hours) Lamps used for clarification of ponds can be replaced every 12 months ( approx 8000 hours) When changing UV lamp we recommend that Quartz Sleeve is cleaned at same time. These Replacement UV bulbs are not for aquarium use. Pond clarifiers only. (please be aware not to look at any UV bulbs with the naked eye)

Great value bulbs
Great value for money. Much cheaper than aquatics shops. Received in boxes in envelope but could of done with a jiffy bag instead. Recommended.

Poor packaging.
The bulb arrived in a small packet which was loose enough for the bulb's box to roll about. The box had clearly been opened before and the bulb itself had several marks and smudges on the glass. The company claim this to be a genuine product but it looks more like a cheap, damaged bulb. Have no confidence that it will work since you can't see it when it's placed in the filter casing.
