[USB-C power pack] clunky design, flimsy cord, no rapid charging for Google Pixel 2
I'm disappointed in this power pack. The size is relatively large for a 5000mah power pack. It is half an inch longer than another 5000mah power pack that I bought from Amazon, not including the non-removable cable that sticks out another inch. The cable is not really an advantage since it makes the product more bulky and it seems flimsy with minimal stress relief, especially at the battery end. The white plastic shell with the weird disco mirror top looks and feels cheap, though I have not had problems with it yet. Weirdly, this power pack has a USB-C output, but a micro-USB input, and no micro-USB cable is included. Why not at least support USB-C input, or use the built-in USB-C cable for both input and output? Most importantly, this battery pack does not support rapid charging on my Google Pixel 2 phone (which doubles the charging speed when the phone's battery is less than 50%), while other 5000mah usb-c battery packs that are sold on Amazon (and are cheaper than this one) do have that important feature.

Two Stars
Not good quality item. aluminum panels have rough edges and it lifts up from case exposing sharp edges.

Will be nice if a cable to charge the power bank itself is included
A battery pack that does not come with a cable to charge it - seems a little weird to me. So I have to find another cable to charge it. Other than that, it's slim and seems to work okay. Have only used it once.

Nice try, but fails in a number of ways
Doesn't do quite what I need it to do, which was to offer a highly portable power bank that could keep small pocket devices functioning on the go, ranging from low-power Bluetooth audio devices, personal sensors, mobile smartphones, and portable pads relying on power ports utilising micro USB and the emerging USB-C standard.Actually the only USB-C device to which I currently have regular access is an ASUS C302CA Chromebook (2017; Intel M3 CPU). With the Miraku plugged in through its built-in USB-C cable, the ASUS identifies it as a "low power charger" and warns it likely won't charge while the Chromebook is turned on. In fact, the Miraku succeeds in charging while it's on, though very slowly (1% per 5 minutes). I consider this a success for the Miraku. It also did reasonably well with an LG G3 CDMA phone, charging through a generic USB-A to micro-USB cable at 1% per 2 minutes. Other successes included portable Bluetooth audio receivers and headphones. The deal breaker for me was the Miraku's failure to charge my primary mobile phone, a Lenovo Motorola brand Moto E4 Plus CDMA X1775. Now this phone's out-sized 5000 mAh battery has proven to be a "fussy charger" that doesn't play nice with all chargers, power banks and cables. The Miraku is amongst the worst. So for my needs it doesn't earn a place in my belt bag with my primary phone. That said, user experiences with other phone models will almost certainly vary. The Miraku is worth a try, especially since Amazon makes "buyer remorse" returns a fairly painless experience. There were a few other problems which I classify as annoying, and when taken together significantly reduce user experience. The retail box arrived torn, and the promised micro-USB cable was missing. If there were printed instructions, they were also missing. (If not missing, I urge the maker to include something, since it is not clear from what's printed on the box that the Miraku must be charged through its micro-USB port; the built-in USB-C charging cable shows no sign of being bi-directional, a real disappointment since that is one of the great new features of the new cable type.) These are signs of an unidentified open-box resale. Without any price adjustment, this is unacceptable retail practice which the seller MUST correct to maintain customer trust.Another troubling thing: the metallic surface acts like a mirror, reflecting light painfully into my eyes. Worse still, the fine grooves feels very strand to the touch, and I worry about it making fine cuts in my fingers. Whatever the surface's benefit for gripping the back of a mobile phone while charging, I felt it necessary to apply opaque adhesive tape over it to protect my skin and eyes. Finally, the storage of the USB-C cable is no better than a nice try. The cable tip fits nicely into the slot built into the bottom of the unit, but this leaves the rest of the cable folded back against itself and exposed to the elements. I had hoped it would slide inside the enclosure to be fully protected, but this turned out not to be the case. If this design continues to be manufactured, I STRONGLY urge the cable storage solution I propose here. If I had kept the unit, I would have continued using rubber bands to bind the cable to the surface, which prevents protective insertion of the connector tip in the 8 included bay.

Type c power bank but requires micro usb to charge it
Yea it's usb-c but you need to carry a a micro USB cord to charge it. It does a great job charging my phone. Just annoying to have to carry two cords.

Works Great
My wife loves it. Small form and gives her a couple of charges on her S8.
