I just received this alarm clock and it exceeds my expectations! It is extremely easy to read (the digits are slightly less than 2" tall) and at its brightest setting, it is very bright and easily seen during the day. At the lowest dimmer setting, you can barely make out the time during the day although in a dark room you might be able to see it so it doesn't turn off completely but is very dark. The dimmer is a slider so you can choose any level from almost off to bright.It is also VERY easy to setup. The instruction sheet is excellent but even without it, every button on the back makes sense. It has a button for Alarm Pause which is raised and red on the back of the clock to turn off the alarm each day so it will sound the next day. The is also a separate slider to turn the alarm all the way off if you don't want to use the alarm and of course you can press the Snooze button on the top center of the alarm clock if you want to get another 9 minutes of sleep.There are separate buttons to set the time and the alarm. You simply press the one you want and use the hour and minute buttons on the top of the clock to set them. There is also an alarm volume slider and a time format slider to switch between 12 and 24 hour (military time) format.Finally, you can press and hold the time set button for a few seconds and the DST light will come on and an hour will be added to the time for Daylight Saving Time. When it is over in 6 months, simply press and hold the time set button for a few seconds and the DST light will go off and it will move the time back one hour. It is a manual process but you only do it twice a year and it is a little more convenient then having to fully set the time back and forth every six months.The colors of the night light can be changed each time you press the Snooze button on the top. They look good too and if you press and hold the Snooze button you can turn off the night light.The alarm clock has a very clean look and is easy to see and to use. The digits are bright, clear and consistent (no part of any digit appears to be brighter or darker than other parts of the digits). I highly recommend it!

The front of this alarm clock is quite attractive due to its bezel-less design. Personally, I think the rest of the body would look more attractive if it maintained the angular design.The giant snooze button that doubles as a night light is clever. And I like how the night light is easy to use: To change colors, just press the button; to turn off, just depress for several seconds or keep pressing the button until it turns off as it rotates it cycles of many colors.The dimmer slide—yes, slide—is great as it provides an analog—not digital or incremental—control over brightness.The LED is sharp and crisp. For many other LED clocks, the numbers have faded or softened edges.The settings are also easy to use and make sense. Sometimes, the buttons are too minimal at the expense of usability and instruction manuals need to be consulted for basic changes. For this alarm clock, the only setting that isn't immediately intuitive is DST. This is fine though as DST changes are only made twice a year, and it's easy to figure out: Just depress the SET TIME button for a few seconds. In fact, having one less button button lowers production cost and therefore consumer price, a sensible trade-off given that the button would only be used twice a year.Other than aesthetics, my only complaint is that the button to turn off the alarm until the next day is tiny and on the back of the clock. That means that you'll need to pick up and reposition the clock everyday. In a way, this helps someone actually wake up instead of habitually hitting the snooze button on autopilot. But for everyone else, this could be more annoying than its worth.A version two of this clock should easily fix these minor issues.

This clock has everything you could want. The display can be adjusted to very dim, barely visible, up to really bright. The night light feature has seven colors to chose from. It has a simple button to change between 12 hours and 24 hours. I haven't used the alarm feature because I just wanted a good desk clock. It has a simple on/off button to control the alarm.The best feature of all is that it keeps accurate time. I've had it for three weeks and it hasn't lost a single second yet. I didn't understand how to change the time at first, as I'm used to having to hold the time set button until the display flashes. On this clock you just press the time set button once then the plus and minus buttons will work. I just had to read the instructions to learn that. I keep the display on full bright and I can easily read it from the next room, about 25 feet away. This is the best desk clock I've ever owned.

Been looking for a replacement alarm clock. Well, I came across this unit and like it allot. I like the size of the unit and the number display. Has a nice visual display you can see when half asleep. Love the LED's that you can change color for the night like. The back of the unit is very easy to use. Not like other type of clocks. The controls on this unit are very easy to use. Now two cons on this unit. I don't like the type of plastic they used for the housing of this unit. It's hard to explain, but it's a hard brittle type of plastic. Meaning, if it was to be dropped on a hard floor. I'm guessing it would break in a million pieces, but It's in the bedroom with carpet. I think the price should be cheaper on this unit.I don't hate or dislike this unit. I really like this alarm clock allot and would buy it again. It's a nice clock and I'm happy with it. Just don't like the plastic typed they use to make it. I'm looking passed it. Sharp clock.
