I bought this a week ago. Yesterday it rained all day....and today I see 2 areas where the paint has been removed and the rod has rust. With just one day of intermittent rain!These are to be used outside, yes? Should they be more durable?Wondering if I should simply return them now.

These Shepard Hooks are amazingly. I am very well pleased with the quality and price. They are heavy duty and constructed very well. I am using the two of them ..one for a wind chimes...the other for a hummingbird feeder in my garden. If you are looking for a well constructed heavy duty rust resistant outdoor hanging shepherds these are the ones to get. The price was great also...I would highly recommend!

I was pleasantly surprised how sturdy and solid these are. My initial use is to hang reflective discs to fend off a hoard of crows attacking our trash (left out for trash pickup). However, I can see using them for other hanging ornaments or solar lanterns.

They are sturdy, whimsical, and charming! Just a note, if you plan to hang hummingbird feeders, the tight scroll resulted in some nectar falling out of the feeder when I put them on. Easy fix though—simply need an S-hook to be a middleman piece or rig up a water moat piece to keep ants from marching their way up to the feeder. (Ants won’t cross water. Look it up on YouTube.)

Purchased these in early July. Used them to hold small hummingbird feeders. Went outside this morning to find one snapped into two. As there was no one in my yard yesterday, and there was no wind or any logical reason for it to break, I can only assume that it snapped into two when a deer bumped into it. Very disappointed in the quality.

I reviewed many other garden hooks before selecting these. I am glad I did. These hooks were sturdy and solidly built. I water my garden regularly and these hangers showed no sign of wear and tear. After 1 season of using them they are still in new condition. Because of the durability and strength I would happily recommend them to others looking for garden hangers Thank you Amazon for carrying such a great product!

I'm glad I chose these over the cheaper thin hooks. These are extremely sturdy. I used them for hanging baskets of flowers. The 48inch is a perfect height to keep the baskets off of the ground.
