The box arrived beat up and torn. I thought for sure the fireplace would be damaged. It even had a hole clean through both boxes but fortunately, it didn't get hit by anything. It looks like a gorilla handled this box in shipping. Fed Ex is terrible about roughing up the packages. I was pleased to unpack it and it was undamaged. Returning an item this big would not be fun. Amerlife double boxed it so they did a nice job of protecting it from brutal shipping damage. They used lots of foam protection to keep the case from getting destroyed. The installation went pretty easily, it was not as difficult as I expected because this fireplace is fairly heavy. When you remove the glass to hang the unit, that lightens the load you have to lift so I was able to hang it by myself. I bought the 60" model which weighs around 50 pounds fully assembled. After hanging it on the wall, I love this thing! It put's out a decent amount of heat, but don't expect it to heat your house up in the cold northern climates. This is just a supplemental heater and for that purpose it works great. I live in Florida so this is perfect for those brief cold snaps we get in winter. The fire looks very realistic and the unit is quiet, even with the heater on. The heater can be set on a timer up to 8 hours and you can also dim the flames at various levels. The color selection is nice for different flame effects. These are nice fireplaces for the price. The only thing to be a little leery of is that you may order one and receive it damaged. I lucked out.

Arrived quickly and packed well. We loved it until the upstairs plumbing hosed it. Looking forward to buying it again. It kept our large bedroom comfortable in winter without blowing up our electric bill. Easy to assemble and adds a nice ambiance

This fireplace is amazing. It has different functions such as different colors, a vent that blows warm air, a timer, and a remote to control all the various things that this can do. It can be mounted or feee standing or even put into a wall if wanted. All around I love this item and I'm very pleased with it.

The media could not be loaded.  We were looking for a decent sized, free standing but can be used in the wall as well if we want to down the line. Beautiful colors (solid and rotating), being able to switch from logs to crystals is great, nice setting options (colors, dimmable, and timer). Only thing is the directions do not state how to remove the glass to take out the packaging and switch the logs and crystals. Thankfully I read other reviews first… Two silvers screws on each side come out. Gently slide the cover up (towards the top) and then lift up.Heater is nice but only a few feet around the front of it… my kids love it even though it feels more like one temp than the range they give you.All in all this is a great product, especially for the price.

It fits perfectly in my living room and it keeps the room warmer than ever I really like the different color mode and it has a fade of all colors also easy-to-use and install

Came packaged well, easy to install and change out the log to the rocks..I'm glad I read other reviews since the instructions didn't clearly explain how to remove the cover to make the switch. The colors are bright and it heats our living room nicely.
