Minuteman EN550 Uninterrupted Power Supply

I have 9 different Minuteman UPS systems, but I have to admit I like the smaller ones the best. The 3 PRO-1500E systems are great for keeping servers running and I was actually using 2 PRO-750E's for my workstation desk. I had 2 EN400's (1 for my network closet and 1 to keep my wifi landline phones operational during a storm). One of my EN400's quit working recently after 10 years of use and I decided to purchase 2 EN550s as replacements. The EN400 and EN550 are good for 200-300 watts respectively and unlike their bigger brothers, have no fans to cause noise. This has come in quite handy as I have replaced my workstations with fanless thin-clients with SSD drives. Yes, you're going to have to replace batteries (in all of them) about every 2 years, but that is an easy swap. These will work great for intermittent brownouts or if you happen to lose power for short periods of time. Please be aware that you should not run your household appliances (or computers) for very long with these devices as the square wave 60hz AC supply will eventually affect your equipment.

The are the best small UPS I have ever used. Another popular brand shut down on me because the battery needed replacement. No warning, no alarm. These have never done that to me.
