Twelfth Night or What You Will

Son had to read this for school so I bought this so he and I could discuss it. Shakespeare was a weird dude. Kinda felt like I was cheating since it was easy to understand. But, since my son didn't understand what they we're talking about at times ( he had original version) this was very helpful in making sure he got it.

Having both the original text & a more modern version is a must to understanding Shakespeare...almost like a cheat-sheet in school...makes the original play stand out like the comedy it is, with twists & turns not see on today's TV sitcoms. You can easily switch between the two versions...although I have read each text separately & completely enjoyed the play in both versions...a must read if you want to enjoy Shakespeare...next step is to see the play on stage!

This is my favorite Shakespeare play, so I wanted to find a version that allowed me to share it with my kid.

Great format! The ability to switch from the original version of the play to the modern version on my Kindle was very useful.

Delivery was very quick. Modern English version of the text on facing page is extremely useful.

...as when I told them about this book. It makes both content and context much easier. They understand what is being said and why it is important. I recommend this series to anyone studying Shakespeare. It cuts through all the language barriers and leaves you with and easily understandable text.
