Iron out is quick and easy to use
I like that you can get a 5ltr bottle, it's easy to use and it takes off the dirt you don't see. I don't like that it makes the wheels look rusty. It is a little exspensive for regular use too.

Brilliant
Great stuff ,spray it on leave it a while.goes purple ,just wash off.if it's fairly ingrained just agitate it a bit.only thing it could do with a fine spray instead of a jet.i put it in a different bottle that I can adjust the spray

Works well but smells awful
The product works well and definitely seems to shift deposits stuck to paint.I’ve given it 3 stars overall due to the fact that the supplied spray gun broke after 5 sprays, meaning I had to find a creative way of getting the product onto my car. I’d happily up the review but not even lasting one use is a bit of a joke.Fair warning, it’s smells appalling so make sure you’re using this product somewhere well ventilated or open.

Miracle spray
Rarely leave reviews- but the product pulled metal contamination from my Subaru car roof paintwork and worked perfectly. A mark that had bugged me for along time and many professionals told me there was little I can do- top stuff!!

The best alloy wheel cleaner I've ever used - I did 3 full applications to both sides of 9 alloys and still half a bottle left!
So we finally had three summery days on the trot here in the UK so I finally got around to putting the summer wheels back on and wanted to clean up both sets of alloys.I hadn't cleaned up the summer wheels before they were put into storage so was expecting a tough job so wanted to try some of this which reminded of the devils blood type alloy cleaners I had heard about - this stuff is superb. In the past I've tried things like Wonder Wheels but that was nowhere near as good as this stuff IMHO. You can easily see it working by the purple colour and it just washes off incredibly easily which I wasn't expecting which was a bonus.I've attached photos from various stages of the process and you can see how this literally melts away a lot of the brake dust deposits from your wheels and brings them up sparkling. As I was taking the wheels off the car anyway it made cleaning easier although you can do them just as easily in place (you just can't get around the back so easily) - I just followed the following process:1. Lay wheel face down and spray on the IO500 and leave for ten minutes and then rinse with soapy water2. Stand wheel up on it's side and spray inside back side and leave for fifteen minutes and then rinse with soapy waterI then repeated the above two or three times per alloy depending on how dirty they were and they all came up as clean as they have ever been - bearing in mind the summer alloys have covered 150k miles I'm amazed at how they've come up.You can tell when the IO500 has gotten rid of everything it can as the wheels will stop bleeding - this was usually around the third application for me but your milage may vary and you'll easily know when it's done what it can as it will just sit and dry to a white colour with no purple streaks.I was very generous with the application of the product and have cleaned 9 18 inch alloys in full, with three applications per side and still have around half a bottle left. I'll definitely be buying some more of this stuff in the future as it's a great product.

Does what it says, might take more than 1 pass for badly ingrained fallout. Poor bottle design...
I bought this based on a fair few reviews and comparisons I had read from several sources. I'm not disappointed in the product, as it's done exactly what it said it would on alloy wheels which I though might be irrecoverable. So kudos where it's due. It's a "bleeding" type of Iron fallout remover, so it does the fancy purple bleeding thing on contact with fallout material, which is pretty fun to watch. One thing to say is that it dried up on my wheels before the 3-5 min recommended sitting time had passed, so I just squirted it lightly again and then hosed it off (not even pressure washed) and it all came away just fine.I did have some tougher areas of really ingrained fallout, which hasn't been removed by the local carwash guys (even with their fallout remover), and had been left for a fair while. This was not removed on the first or 2nd pass of IO500, but once i agitated it with an alloy wheel cleaning brush and gave it a scrub, this long set brake dust did finally come away and left my wheels looking spotless. So it does indeed do what it says it does, and I can certainly imagine that with more regular use then every couple of years, this would require very little effort, with nothing more required than just squirting it on, and leaving it sit for a minute or 2 before washing off.One final note is that the design of the squirt bottle is rubbish. It's been said by others, and I can echo it.Mine wasn't leaking, nor was it completely unfunctional. It was just awkward to use. The trigger is just badly placed and the head spins in your hand too easily when squeezing. It resulted in me getting this stuff on my hands unnecessarily and as you may have already read, this stuff stinks. I could smell it even after washing them. So beware of that, and maybe where gloves, or decant it to a better spray bottle if you have one.
