Katy Perry

This book is a must have for any Katy Perry fans! It is amazing! This book is filled with hundreds of 12 inch, full res, vibrant photographs of Katy and a lot of really interesting facts about her life. Granted, in 2021 it is a little bit outdated, but it is still a gem for any fan. I specifically remember being in elementary school bringing this book to reading and fan girling over Katy to all of my friends. It is a really good coffee table book, and it is really sturdy. Comparable to a Guinness world records book. Is extremely heavy and does not feel cheap at all. The outside paper cover is removable and reveals a very minimalistic dark cobalt blue book. The bindings are extremely sturdy and the pages do not feel like they are going to fall out. It is also bound in sections, so it is not a struggle to open the pages and feel like you need to bend them completely in half just to get them to lay flat. I bought mine used, but it honestly looks just like new, aside from a few scratches and warped edges on the paper cover, but that is expected with any kind of use. Don’t be afraid to buy used. This book is not easy to ruin.

This is a large hardcover book. It is not for elementary school age. We ordered it for my 4th grader to do a biography book report with, but this book is way too detailed for elementary school age. Spends a lot of time talking about who she met/knew in the "industry" that helped her "make it", which is interesting but way too detailed for elementary school age to understand who's who and what's going on. Has lots of detail on the story behind each song. There is some adult language and explicit references especially in the sections about her relationship with Russel Brand and in discussions about some of her songs that actually have explicit lyrics. From an adult perpsective, it is an excellent coffee-table book for a die-hard Katy Perry fan. Lots of detail. Beautiful full page color pictures!

My daughter loves Katy Perry, so this book was a perfect gift for her. She loves looking at all the pictures inside and reading more about her favorite singer. Its a book big enough to be put on display too. I briefly thumbed through the book before giving it to her to see if there was too much talk about drugs, her relationship with her ex, etc., and there's not too much any of that...at least nothing I wouldn't feel uncomfortable talking about with her anyway. She's almost 10.

This got a 5 star rating from because when my 9 year old neice opened it on Christmas Eve she actually paused in opening gifts and glanced through the whole book for several minutes. Even after she finished opening her gifts she went right back to this book. This book has a lot of beautiful pictures and snappy little articles. Katy Perry is still a pretty decent role model for girls and I believe she encourages using imagination vs sex appeal. : ) She may a few suggestive songs but she does them in such a cutesy way.

I was totally surprised by the size of this great book, and all of the beautiful photos of Katy Perry in this book. It's a wonderful book to go through, and to always keep as a wonderful souvineer!! I was stunned by the fabulous information, and the beautiful pictures of Katy, and also a few of Katy and Russell Brand!!! You won't be disappointed if you buy this book. It is well worth the money!!!! Thank you!!!

The pictures in here are amazing. Great quality.I learned a lot from this book that i didn't know about the girl.Definitely made me enjoy her music/lifestyle/journey more.Katy Perry is an absolutely doll.Must buy.Hard bound too which is nice. Lots of pages.And NO there is no nudity. Pervs! =)Cheers

My daughter LOVES looking at this book. Gave it to her to with two of KP's concert tickets! It was perfect to get her excited about the show!

I give this book 5 stars as its a really good read. full of interesting stories of how Katy Perry started right through to her Divorce. the book is full of great photos. Katy works very hard to be the best she can be, and is a truly fantastic singer that deserves more awards than she gets. the book is first class received it time and in fist class condition. I would recommend this to anyone I enjoy reading this a lot.

Decent book but definitely for the 'Katycats'.

My 8 year old daughter will love this when she opens it at Christmas! Full of photos, old and new, lots of information from Katy's early days till the present. A must have for any Katy Perry fan.
