SKTYANTS 5 3/4" 5.75 Inch LED Headlight Motorcycle DRL White Horns with 5.75 Inch Housing Bucket for Sportster Softail Dyna Shadow Road Star

It's way better than my old incandescent-- 1982 tech. But it is not AMAZING!!! as some claim. It is just what I feel the average headlight should do. I see some complaints about mounting brackets. They seem sturdy to the touch, but I used my old bracket because it was a perfect fit. Yes, I'd buy again.

The actual lamps are high quality similar to the Harley Davidson Day Makers that cary a hefty price tag the headlight buckets do not allow you to aim the lights up or down so if you wish to do this you will have to get creative. The pigtail adapters that come with the housings are cheap and look to be 20gauge wire so far the lights are lighting up.Something else to note is the wire comes out at an unusual spot on the housing to correct this i drilled a new hole in the center near the mounting point and rerouted pigtail. I plugged hole with a chromed hole plug i found in the specialty hardware section of Home Depot. Overall satisfied but not quite a 5 start!

if you are trying to find a way to install this for a bike its not meant to you'll have to make it work. my 2018 honda shadow is not meant for this type of headlight however with some bolts and lock nuts you can get it to stay. maybe about 50 cents in hardware from your nearest lowes or home depot. however the output of the headlight is very amazing. it is almost to dangerous to ride with the stock headlight so i was forced to upgrade my headlight. and this was a very inexpensive but well worth it decision. i can now see way farther and clearer than before and didnt have to spend alot of money to do so

I replaced the what possibly might have been the original light but after seeing the wiring I don’t know, it was Mickey Moused pretty badly but I was able to cut out the female plug from inside the old light and hard wire it to the bikes physical (correct) wiring which turned my new LED headlight into literally a plug & play job since it came with a male plug on it. Works like a dream now my high and low beams both work and the electrical short is gone. It’s a very easy install. It’s just some knucklehead installed the previous one. This light has such a broader spectrum even from behind the smoked lens of my quarter fairing

Ordered this instead of another light I was looking at because this one came with mounting brackets. Unfortunately, the brackets don’t fit my 35mm forks even though the description states it will fit any forks 32-40 mm. Even with the brackets on the smallest setting they are too loose to secure the headlight. To make it work I will have to order different brackets, which means this will end up costing more than if I ordered the other headlight and brackets separately.The headlight itself is much brighter than the stock headlight and the housing is thin aluminum but it will get the job done

Super awsome bright light. Hadto builds bracket to get it away from my fork. And the wiring harness is that kinda crappy. But it's great for the price I'm goimg to buy another for my other bike

I have not run this on my cycle yet...that is why I gave it only 4 stars. The light spread from left to right is great. The low beam to high beam does not seem to different, but totally out does my stock bulb. The color of the light is a middle of the road white...not blue, not amber, just white. The bucket is stout and looks robust. I'm looking forward to hooking this smoke wagon up and seeing how it does!!!
