This is a great humidifier! For the first day I thought it might not be working well, because it ran so much. It turns out my house was just so dry that it took a while to reach optimum humidity. Now the humidifier runs much less, and maintains the house humidity at a comfortable level. I use bottled distilled water, so every morning I add a gallon to what is left in the tank (no lifting or carrying the tank, just remove the lid and pour in water). I restart the humidifier and forget about it. At bedtime I turn it off, then start again the following morning. The house feels warmer and I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Also, it's worth mentioning that the machine is totally silent. If you don't want to be bothered with having to refill the tank of your humidifier several times a day, try this humidifier. It will run all day and all night on one tank of water. It shuts itself off if it runs out of water, too.

This is a very well made, high quality item. The built not only looks good but is very sturdy, robust with great aesthetics. I use it in our living room even when there are guests. The control buttons are well lit and yet not bright enough to disturb your sleep. The controls are very easy, intuitive. Did not need to read the manual to set it up. The variable moisture output, and humidity control function as promised. Highly recommended.

It took a while to figure out the best settings for our area, but it has helped with our static problem tremendously. I used to get shocked touching the refrigerator and any light switch. Now I don’t and that makes me very happy! Since we use it at a higher setting, we have to add water every other day, which is a small price to pay for the results.

This thing is well made, looks great, and puts out a great amount of humidity; it can make my walls bleed in the mountains in the winter! But...The humidity control system doesn't work well at all. It sits on the floor and I feel it doesn't get a good enough sample there. It can vary widely from my trusted humidistat I have in my room.That being said, it runs for 2 days with the huge tank, the remote works great, and it's silent.It's still a keeper.

The media could not be loaded. As you can see, I have it set at 50%… it just keeps going. To the point that it can no longer read how humid the room is because it is so high (which means above 80% because that’s as high as it indicates). I emailed their customer service, and after telling me to clean the scented oil compartment (spoiler alert: it doesn’t have one), they said it “is within range.” REALLY?

After an hour, I could put my hand where the steam came out without any issue. It still felt cool to me. I put a thermometer over it and it only got as high as 77 degrees F. I’m thinking about returning it.Also, I am not sure it will humidify a large room. The mist just seems to fall to the ground even on level 3, the maximum high setting.

If you need a silent humidifier, this isn't the one. The humidifier is definitely not silent or even quiet as it sprays a mist into your room. It might be something you can live with but the biggest disappointment was the constant "dripping" sound. For me, it was annoying and kept me awake at night. I sent the item back for a refund.

The humidifier does not show accurate humidity levels. I have a Hygrometer and adjust the settings to achieve the correct desired levels. Sleep mode turns off the control panel lights. It makes my small home comfortable and saves on the heating bill.
