Here is the thing with staplers. They are cheap to buy and there is plenty of choice. You can buy a stapler for £10.50. My advise; pay the extra £14.48 and you will save yourself from a lot of frustration. This Rapid stapler is made in Sweden, its construction is sturdy and of good quality and its ergonomics really good. It also performs flawlessly and effortlessly. I actually cannot believe it costs less than £25 to buy. I reckon they probably sell loads and the manufacturing costs are pretty low as its design has remained unchanged for decades and for good reason. My verdict; this is possibly the only manual stapler you will ever need either for tasks around the house or for professional use.

I just bought this new Rapid Pro R34 staple gun to replace my old one which eventually failed after 20-25 years use. It is a solidly built tool that fires heavy duty staples (Type 140) ranging in length from 6mm to about 15mm. The fact the staple gun arrived pre-lubricated in all the important places gives confidence in the manufacturing process. There is a sliding adjuster to change the force of the stapling but some materials need a lot of force so users need to be aware of how hard they may need to grip. If you are looking for a serious manual staple gun, I can recommend this one.

I bought this staple gun to replace the exact same model I had for over 20 years and apart from a little design change, it works the same way and with the same strength and accuracy. A superb staple gun and well worth the money.

I used this to re-upholster my four cream dining chairs. Worked wonderfully no jamming or miss firing. Only gave 4 stars due to the fact that it is made for a larger hand and I struggled to close the handle and keep the material taught at the same time. Could definitely do with a small hand sized one.

Great machine for stapling onto different materials

Excellent Staple Gun, it was perfect for reupholstered my headboard. Looks to be well made and it was very easy to load staples and use.

This is a really sturdy stapler which is very easy on the wrists. I've been using it on some hardwood upholstery projects and my ancient Homebase stapler barely functioned - this bad boy shot staples in with as much force as an electric or even air powered stapler would. Great value for money, very robust - I'm hoping it'll last a lifetime.
