I bought the 2 piece set- 1 large, 1 small. I used them to make cake pops and quickly realized the small one is the perfect size. I plan to use the large one to make meatballs. The quality is good and feels sturdy and easy to clean. It’s quite easy to use, just stick the two halves in a bowl of cake/meat and squeeze shut. The excess cake squeezes out the two round holes and around the two halves. For cake pops, they have to be very smooth and round, so I had to roll the cake rounds in my hands to get it perfectly smooth. There is a small line indent from the two halves, but it easily goes away with hand-rolling. I don’t think this would matter so much for meatballs. I would recommend this over other cake pop molds since it comes with 2 pieces, is compact, and you can use it for meatballs too!

The finger holes were a good fit for my hands - I wear a size 7 ring - but if your hands are larger, you may find them uncomfortable. They pressed into my fingers after a while so I put on a pair of thin latex gloves to ease the fit. HINT: For meatballs, coat inside with a little veg oil or cooking spray every few balls if you want them to release easily. The SMALL baller was perfectly aligned and easiest to use; also released the easiest. I made small meatballs for my 5yo grandson quickly. The LARGER baller was not in perfect alignment but it made the meatballs successfully. Seem pretty sturdy.

This product help me make a lot of meatballs really quick. It's good it came with two different sizes I used both. Your hands starts to feel a little uncomfortable due to adding pressure against it with the metal handles to create meatball. Maybe if it had silicone grips around them that would help. Product was easy to clean.

Not too sturdy

I usually hand roll large batches of meatballs but the meatballs seem to get bigger and bigger as I go probably from me getting tired and wanting to be done with it lol, so this tool helped keep me consistent in size and I was able to double the amount of meatballs in a batch which cut down the amount of batches I had to make for a large party. Loved it! Very inexpensive & good quality.

Used them for cake pops. Made my life easier and the cake pops looked uniform which is wonderful

Top part of the ball maker does not line up with the bottom part therefore you don't get a ball out of it. Its hard to remove the content even with spraying both halves with Pam . Also, the part where you insert your fingers is not comfortable at all and my fingers get stuck all the time. Much easier to make meatballs with the cookie scooper type devise.

I got this and tried it with cookie dough. It doesn't work. The cookie dough sticks inside it. I probably won't use it very often. I'm thinking of returning it. I mean, how often do I really make meatballs???However, quality is good and it washed in the dishwasher just fine.

Fue una completa desilusión, resulta mucho más fácil tomar la masa o la carne con los dedos y hacer bolitas con las manos que usar estas pinzas. No las he usado para hacer bolas de melón, pero no me imagino como las podría sacar pues se sienten muy frágiles
