A reliable make, not bitter.
It's hard to talk about value for money when it comes to pods - they are an expensive way to make coffee as compared to other methods. I find the Tassimo machine tends to produce a rather bitter coffee in most cases - water too hot maybe? So it's a bit hit or miss and you can get through an awful lot of pods trying to get the perfect one! I like a small to medium cup of strong, well-rounded coffee, without bitterness and since Tassimo stopped producing their best (for me!) Jacob's Monarch, I've been searching for a replacement. Although this Marcilla is an espresso, so very short and strong, I find by holding down the on button, I can control the amount of water going through and get the perfect size cup of coffee. (This method, by the way, works in reverse when using standard pods - to get a smaller, stronger cup you simply press the button to cut off the water.) Personally, I like the taste of this coffee better than most of the others, but it is a case of trial and error! Unfortunately it's not easy, nigh impossible, to get single packs of the less well-known brands in order to trial them. I often end up buying on Amazon as the Tassimo store is forever out of stock of many brands and it's hard to take advantage of their discounts.

Tassimo coffee
This is the best coffee for Tassimo I have tried - and I've tried a lot! Not at all bitter. A full flavour. I shall buy these again.I sometimes top up the espresso shot with hot water for a longer coffee.

Ottimo prodotto. Arrivato in tempo come da indicazioni Amazon. Il gusto è abbastanza ristretto ed ottimo anche se si vuole combinare con il creamer Tassimo.

Mi marca de cafe
No lo cambio por otros cafés, tiene cuerpo, sabor, espuma que dura aun después de haberlo movido, otros cafés se deshace la espuma.
