5 year old approved
A great value, my 5 year old and I loved doing this activity together. She waved the magic wand and made wishes over each potion after following the recipes. The seal on the lids is tight and leak proof. My daughter keeps them on her night stand and I’m not worried about them spilling or making a mess. Absolutely adorable.

Perfect for Mom & kid!
This is a perfect starter set for baby witches! My daughter is 6 & she is enjoying this so much! We're both enjoying it! All her spells are turning out so pretty! And yes it came with a cute lil witches cauldron! It also comes with a book of 7 spell she can do, and of course they can still make up their own! It also includes trinkets like stars, unicorn horns, butterflies, feathers, unicorn hair, and so on! Very cute, very pretty! And a good amount of lil plastic jars in different shapes & sizes! Tops included! I wish I could have had this set when I was little! Being a witch myself, this is VERY healing for my inner child! But DON'T rip the box open because part of the box is shelves for her to store all her spell jars! Ease of use is very simple! Value for money is so worth it! Function is super simple! Thank you!!!

Good gift idea
I got as a gift for a 6 year old’s party. When this arrived the box was much speller than I expected (maybe 9x9 inches or so) making it look like a cheaper gift than how much I actually paid. She ended up playing with this at the end of her party when only one of her guest was left and let her once friend make a few potions. (I think she didn’t want to share with everyone) There was a lot of items inside and they were able to make plenty of potions with not as much mess as I was expecting. There was a decent amount of glitter on the table after but it was a quick clean up after. She did really seem to enjoy it as well as her one friend (who is a boy so it can be gifted for both boys and girls even though it does look a little girly). I think this definitely was a hit even if it comes in a small package. I do think it should’ve been more like $12-$15 instead of the $20ish dollars I paid.

A spell of good fortune finding this product!
A Whirlwind of Whimsy: My Daughter's Faery Potions AdventureBought this for my daughter and I so we'd have something fun to do together! it was like stepping into a miniature, sparkly, bottle-filled world. Imagine a box brimming with tiny bottles, colorful powders, glitter (of course), and all sorts of other magical ingredients. It was the kind of kit that makes you want to put on a pointy hat and start cackling (in a good way).Instructions Fit for a Faery QueenBut the best part? The instructions. They weren't just some boring list of steps. Oh no, they were adorable. It was like reading a tiny spellbook, filled with whimsical language and cute illustrations. Even I, a grown-up, felt a little sprinkle of magic reading them aloud. It really added to the whole experience and made my daughter feel like a real potion-maker.Pacing Ourselves Through the PotionsNow, here's where we had to employ some self-control. The kit came with tons of materials, which was fantastic, but also a bit overwhelming. We quickly realized that if we went full-speed, we'd be done in an hour, and the magic would be over. So, we decided to pace ourselves. We made a few potions one day, carefully corking and labeling them, and then saved the rest for later. It turned into a multi-day adventure, which was way more fun and stretched out the enchantment.A Few Tipsy ThoughtsA few things I noticed:The bottles, while adorable, are small, so tiny hands are definitely a plus. They still work well with grown up hands too.Glitter. Be prepared for glitter. It gets everywhere, but honestly, that's part of the charm. I put out a plastic table cloth to catch any spillage. Who knows, maybe after mixing all the left over ingredients we might make a powerful luck potion- maybe I'll find my keys!Adult supervision is helpful, especially for the younger ones, to help with the finer motor skills and to, you know, prevent any accidental ingestion of "unicron hair." The unicorn hair does cling from the static, but that was part of the fun!The Final SpellOverall, this faery potions kit was a huge hit. It sparked my daughter's imagination, provided hours of entertainment, and gave us a fun activity to do together. If you're looking for a gift that's both creative and enchanting, this is it. Just remember to pace yourselves and savor the magic!

Cheaply made and doesn't do anything advertized
Ok so I have several complaints. 1st of all, the bottle toppers are plastic not actual cork so they don't stay on the bottles and they leak! The bottles are also plastic.2nd, in the video it shows the potions doing all sorts of things like bubbling over, one looked like lava, one made the liquid turn into a solid etc. It didn't do ANYTHING! It's literally a few bottles of glitter, 3 bottles of food coloring, plastic potion bottles, a few fake flowers, and other little items to drop in the potion, then you mix it in a tiny plastic bowl and pour into the potion bottles, which again leak so bad that you end up throwing them away so the food coloring in them doesn't stain wherever your kid decides to display them. Speaking of displaying them, the photos they use to advertise this kit shows an adorable cardboard shelf thing to display them on. The one it showed was a pretty decent sized box/shelf. Then when we got ours and the display box fit in the palm of my hand and doesn't even hold all of the potions!3rd, it came with a cute little black couldren but no where in the directions does it say when you should use it! It's pretty much pointless. My daughter was really disappointed as she has wanted a potion kit for a long time! You could literally go to dollar tree and buy all these same items (except with real glass bottles and cork tops) and get a better result for cheaper! And it wouldnt leak all over! This kit is not worth the money at all. Either put a kit together yourself or find a different kit that actually comes with the items it says it comes with.
