Great replacement for a Yanmar engine. Still goin strong after 8 months. Recommend.

Good value fuel pump for either fitting to a car, boat or for using as a fuel transfer pump. I have fitted mine to a petrol can that i can use as a fuel sell for my project vehicles.Very simple to install. But do note it requires negative earth if fitting to a vehicle.Overall the pump seems well made, produces good flow at a low enough pressure to be used for carbureted engines. Comes with a short run of cable and a plug. There is no plug to connect to this provided so i have cut it off and attached clips for a 12v battery to suit my application.

This pump comes in a basic cardboard box, with the unit in a plastic bag, with about 12 inches of cable attached to it - see photos - but no instructions as you know why you want it and therefore what it does. There is a designated type connector on the end of the cable, in which there are two spade type tangs as I connected it up to ‘Lucar’ spade connectors and ran it to test it with a 12 volt spare car battery we keep in the garage for assorted usage. The initial pumping action is quick and positive as it self-primes as it just keeps on going as I recirculated diesel fuel from one can into another container a few times back and forth in which time it never faltered plus the noise in minimal. With mounting plate with two U shaped slots for mounting to a flat surface, it's well designed.
