Not working properly with 915MHz
I ordered it by seeing 8dBi gain but it is not working properly with 915MHz. It is longer as expected. My old small antenna is performing better than this. I tried range between two of these new antennas mounter vertically and both are of at same height but this is not giving good range and the normal smaller one with around 3dBi gain is performing much better! I am wondering why. Coz it is written in title it is for 915MHz.I ordered 8 of these.I would like to get a support from the seller to know if there is any workaround needed to make it work with 915MHz, like impedance matching etc, coz my RF module is expecting 50 ohms impedance. I am using a short ufl to rp-sma male connector for this.

Doesn't seem to be a 915 Mhz antenna
From my measurements of two of these antennas, I find the center frequency is more like 948 Mhz. At 915, I measure an impedance of 64 ohms, and a VSWR of 1.3, with a return loss of -17.5 dB. At 948, I see a 48 ohm impedance, --27.4 dB return loss, and a VSWR of 1.05.

A must have.
A must have for UAV telemetry. I can get two miles out of my setup with @ 100mw.It requires an adapter to work with the 3dr radio and you need to build a bracket so it doesn't destroy your USB port. I built a bracket out of foam craft board.

Absolutely, completely useless!
I purchased this antenna to go on my Lora gateway and wish I had tested the antenna when I got it. Now it is too late to return. As you can see in the pictures, the SWR at 915MHz is over 200:1. Impedance is way off also. That is so bad that I would be better off burying the gateway 20 feet in the ground with no antenna. I can not believe that someone would actually try to sell a product that performs this badly.

These are not tuned to the MHz described and never reached 900 MHz during testing when received. I would not suggest these if you need them tuned to the MHz for most of use.

Junk, pure junk
I have bought a number of these antennas. After a short period of time, the metal collar with the threads at the bottom of the unit breaks away from the rest of the antenna. I have had this happen on every unit I've deployed. Don't waste your money.

Terrible natenna
Like the others who've purchased this, I found that although it is quite long, this antenna gives worse reception than much smaller ones; it is a poor match at 915MHz and radiates poorly. Very disappointed.

not a 915mhz antenna. beware!
not 915mhz at all. performance is terrible. agilent SA says this is an 868mhz antenna. verified against known good 915mhz antennas. useless for 915mhz lora.
