The bottle and phone app work as advertized!
The Water H app tracks water intake during the day, and subsequently, the Apple phone's Health app updates, so all my health data is stored in one centralized app/area.

App connection is no good
I had the bottle for a few days and things seemed good. It did not keep things cold for very long but you are supposed to be drinking the water so no big deal there. Then day 4 started and I kept getting a 409 error when ever the bottle tried to connect to the app , I have the app on a pixel 6. I reached out to support, and nothing completely ghosted. I removed the bottle and readded it and poof worked again. Or so I thought, the next day the 409 error is back, tried to remove and reinstall again but this time no luck. Bottle is being returned the app and bottle just don't work well together. Too bad because the first few days were great

Reminds me to drink water
I love this because I been drinking so much water hardly any soda but the filter didn’t work as well then I thought because it was hard to drink water out of it while you had the filter on.

Not just for water, works for protein shakes and hydration drinks as well
This is so cool! Definitely helps me track my water and my students love to remind me when the base turns red! Charges incredibly well, stays true to form and the app is brilliant! So many awesome options! Get this if you're trying to track your water or trying to remain accountable! It also works for protein shakes and electrolyte drinks to make sure you set an alarm to drink them when you need to! 20/10 highly recommend!

Great idea, bottle and app needs some work
The description said it comes with a filter, but mine did not arrive with one. It doesn't record water properly. It has an option for corrections but it doesn't work. It also doesn't have option to pour out and refill without counting it. Ice lasts at most 6 hours in 70°F weather, then the water gets really warm quickly after that (not great for construction workers in the summer). I do love how the bottle feels and looks, and I like the flip top straw, it's fun to play with.

Smart water bottle
The review is for “WATERH B002 Insulated Stainless Steel Smart Water Bottle, 18 oz Bluetooth Intake Smart Tracker & Reminder to Drink with BF02 Filter & Straw (Magnetite Blue)“.The bottle is a smart invention. It aims to automatically record your water intake and as a result, to encourage you to drink enough water each day. On top of that, this newer model from WaterH also comes with a filter. The filter works very well. The water tastes better with the filter. I no longer need to wait for my Britta to slowly filter the water, and then fill my water bottle. You just get the tap water and that’s it.The bottle is very well built. It used high quality material and all of it feels solid, including the straw part. I like its smaller size. If the bottle doesn't have the smart functions, it’s still a very good one maybe worth $30+. The added function is the reason people may want to pay the extra money and still appreciate it.The bottle comes with a base which I guess can measure the weight of the bottle. The app would ask you to put the bottle on the base when it’s empty, and then it’d know how much water you filled, and later how much water you consumed. Your phone is connected to the bottle via bluetooth. My understanding is, your phone connects to the base only to know the water changes, which then plots the chart of how much water you drink everyday. You can set a target. I think the app is supposed to warn you every hour.So you see, there’s an issue if you go to another place during the day. For example, if you need to go to work. You can certainly take the base with you. It’s not bulky. But I don’t even take any bottles with me to work. I use a different one in my office. In this scenario, the automatic recording won’t work. You need to manually input. Another caveat is, once you drink up, you can’t directly go to fill it. You need to put the empty bottle on the base first, and then fill, so it knows that’s a second bottle (I guess). With all the trouble, I still found myself drinking more water. And I can see how useful it is for kids who never drink enough water. The parents can watch for the water consumption level. I think I will get another one for my son.

Verdict is out
I’ve had it for 45 minutes. Installed the app (QR code didn’t work so that was a bummer. Had to search manually)Did the calibration and everything seemed to be synced appropriately. The QR on the filter allowed me to add the filter. But the app said it was a third party filter even though the filter has the same branding on it.I drank and it was sooo hard but figured it was because it was a new filter. It registered the drink. Thought it may be a little high.Finished the first water bottle and the app said I drank 26 oz. Which is def not possible because it said it was an 18 oz capacity.

Sturdy
The bottle itself is very sturdy and well constructed however it isn't super user friendly and doesn't hold a lot of water. We had trouble getting the app to work and sync with the bottle and then it wasn't calibrating. I wish we had received instructions in the package, too so we didn't have to rely solely on the app (which I realize doesn't make a ton of sense since the app is how you track the intake). Anyway, the product is nice I just wish it were more user friendly.
