Data on the go for a good price.
Used with an iPad Mini. Provides more than enough data each month for simple tasks on the road when wifi isn't available. Saves having to tether also but I like that option being available to me (on o2) should this one not have signal.Setup was simple and straightforward. The EE app will display how much data is remaining each month.

A bit fiddly to get it to work but well worth it
Took a few attempts and about an hour to get it to work on the iPad. More detailed instructions would be handy. Great offer. Sorted for 12 months.

Good for occasional use of Sim data
I've used EE Sims in my iPad for a few years now. My need for Sim connection is sporadic as most of the time I use WiFi. So a Sim that doesn't expire after 30 days suits my need. The previous incarnations of this EE Sim were limited to 3 months, this is better in that it lasts a whole year. But there is a limit of 500GB per month which is generally OK for me. I was pleased to see it worked for data usage at 4G in the Canaries (Spain) without additional charges. Registering the Sim can be temperamental but I've succeeded each time, helped by the separate, clearer, instructions provided by the seller. It would be 5 star if it wasn't for the 500GB monthly cap, slight reduction in flexibility with that.

Used in a Jaguar for live traffic updates
I had one of these cards and after 12 months the data ran out, so I used the Top Up procedure to put some data on it. This costs £2 for 200 Mb for 30 days so more expensive than buying a new SIM. After 2 months this stopped working so I bought another SIM. I got the car to recognise it (You Tube is great for seeing how to do this) and got the 4G logo up so it was online. I filled in the registration page but it would not let me activate the account. I asked in the loco EE shop, but they were no use at all. Apparently it is not an EE product that they sell. EE customer service advised me to return the SIM which I did and I ordered another. That did exactly the same, would not activate. I phoned EE customer service again and this time the lady in Newcastle managed to get it to work but only by manually putting my first months 500 Mb on the system. It was showing no credit before that. So it is working but I don't know if it will continue to work in 30 days time. I'm not sure customer service knew much about the product. One girl kept asking me if I had a voucher code, which I did not of course. Makes me wonder if there is no data allotted to the SIM. We shall see in 30 days time.

Does not work
Received item, had lots of problems setting it up, managed to get it working for calls and texts but data did not come preloaded as advertised. Been in touch with EE twice and they said they loaded the data allowance on but it does not show up on website, also I can not load my own data on to the sim and also can not get online. Bought it for WiFi connection in a caravan, can’t return it. Just wasted £27 not to mention £5 in credit top up and a day of my holiday trying to sort this out. If I could give zero stars I would! Avoid!
