The Viper's Nest Roadhouse & Cafe (Sam Quinn) Paperback – October 31, 2023

Great story, characters, and action. The narrative moved briskly but not obnoxiously fast. My favorite characters got some closure and a decent ending to this particular event. I read the book as fast as I could cause it made me so darn happy. Ghosts , demons, vamps and werewolves, with a side of fae. Gotta love it.

Action packed story kept the pages turning. I love the characters and the circle of friends Sam has supporting her. This is a really goid series. You have to start at book one. This book had the San Francisco gang back together and facing a common enemy. Looking forward to the next book.

The Sam Quinn series is in my top three. If you like urban fantasy solidly grounded in real-world environments and including multiple mythos, this a perfect goto series to get your fix.

The protagonists are likable, the plot line has remained engaging, and the smack talk makes me laugh every time. It’s not Dune, but it’s such an enjoyable, light-hearted series (except where it isn’t, which we exact justice for), I hope fellow readers decide to try it and enjoy it as much as I do.I especially love the Lamb itself - bookshop, bar, insanely scenic view and outstanding menu - this is a place I’d LOVE to go. Heck, I might move in too!

Such an enjoyable series. Clever and well developed characters that are relatable and real. Wonderful descriptions that immerse you in her fantastical world. I cannot wait for the next in the series.

Clive's make comes to the city & DOESN'T make nice. Sam uses her abilities to figure out what's going on. And her connections in the community to help fight. Fantastic read. The author does an amazing job building the action & detailing the plot. Lots of fun

Great story for book six, lots of new people to add to the series. Story continues to advance and characters are rounding out and becoming more believable.

I can’t say enough about this series!! The way Sam and Clive are is perfection! Their interactions and devotion to one another is beautiful. But the supporting characters…damn!! They’re not just an after thought! They’re deliciously rounded out and only add super enhancing qualities and details to Sam and Clive’s story. I honestly don’t think I will ever get tired of reading Sam and Clive stories!!

This author has become everything that's good about modern urban fantasy to me and as such is on my auto buy, can be guaranteed to love books. This instalment did not disappoint and I love the feeling of going back to visit with old friends that you get from visiting a favourite series. Sam never has it easy but she does have a strong community and family around her now and I loved every moment of this read.

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!! I truly did not think this series could get any better, but it freaking DID!Where to start this review......Okay so, I love Clive's and Sam's new house, their new English garden and of course HOBBITON! The descriptions of them were so good, I felt like I was there. I loved being in the Slaughtered Lamb again and we even got three new awesome characters, Meri and her dad (he as yet has no name, only known as Meri's dad) I cannot wait to hear more from them. And I loved, loved, LOVED Thoth. He is one interesting god to have around and I REALLY hope we hear more from him.We get to meet Clive's maker Garyn (she is completely nutterbutters) and half the book I was chanting "Die bitch die" and cheered like a lunatic when I got my wish in the end. It was awesome seeing everyone from the dream team fighting the bad guys, Russel, Godfrey, Audrey, Stheno, Medusa, Dave, Maggie, George, Alec, Benvir, Fyr, Owen, Owens parents (who looked hilarious dressed like cat burglars), Grim & other dwarves, and an all time favourite made an appearance making me cry with laughter and joy, here is a hint "I GUARD" LOL I love our awesome orc friend, Fangorn!I was so happy everyone made it out alive, especially Godfrey, who is my favourite and if he dies I will never forgive you Seana lol Oh and of course I almost forgot, Fergus is still being a cutie pie.It was a fantastic read. Good paced, Epic storyline, great characters (old and new) and fantastic hints and transition for the next book. And speaking of the next book, I cannot freaking wait to meet Vlad the ancient vampire! I think I am even more desperate for the next book then I was for this one and that is saying something.I just want to say, Thank you so much Seana, you are writing incredible books, that I can honestly say I cannot fault. You have an absolute true fan in me and I will be continuing to buy the books in this series and Arwen series for as long as you write them (which better be a LONG time) heheBudapest here I come.....

I hate waiting for the next book. The series is addictive. Fast paced, lots of different supernaturals and all with great personality. There is no sense of plot repetition and each book brings new depth and skills to the players.
