MANUSCRIPT 3x RED SEALING WAX STICKS WICKS FOR POSTABLE WAX SEALS

Excellent and a good product. Got one finger burnt but will do better next time ! Its worth mentioning that the use of sealing wax alone requires a taper.They are hard to find and buy and a candle just does not work, it drips wax.

As I have pen friends from all over the world I find that it is a nice touch to seal my letters shut before I place them into the envelope. The wax sticks make the job quick and simple. No mess and plenty of wax per stick. I wouldn't really trust the seal to hold up going through the mail sorting process as even though the wax is flexible enough to withstand all the various sorting machines, the bond between paper and wax doesn't feel entirely secure. This is why I only use it as an additional decoration on my letters and not as the main way of securing the envelope shut.These wax seals also look really good on invitations and Christmas and birthday cards, they give a little personal touch to your correspondence and just add that little something different which is always nice.

Work very well, I had no problems sealing letters with my signet ring and they all made it through the post with wax seals intact. Don't come in the box shown, just loose in a bag but that is a minor point. I would recommend these.

Note: Please ignore my star rating, since the rating system is classifying this item as a 'toy' which it clearly isn't.This is a flexible sealing wax, as opposed to the traditional brittle type.This product is extremely easy to apply; actually it's the easiest sealing wax I've ever worked with. It takes minimal effort to create a perfect wax seal with an excellent impression. However, due to the type of wax, the seals look plasticy and a bit fake.Furthermore, I've tried this product on different types of paper and stationery, and for the most part it didn't create a strong bond. With a little scratching, I could usually peel the wax seal off in one piece. I wouldn't feel confident sending these wax seals through the post.Basically, this wax doesn't provide a really authentic looking seal (that is typical of brittle wax) nor does it adhere well to paper---in my experience.As an aside, it's worth mentioning that this product didn't arrive in the package shown on Amazon. Instead, the wax sticks showed up loose in a mailing envelope. Although delivery was fast, the seller (Quickdraw Stationery UK) did a careless 'packing' job, and I was surprised that the sticks didn't arrive snapped in half.

This was perfect for our wedding invitations. Easy and fun to use + has a great finish, I got 10 invites from each stick. Arrived fast but loose without pictured packaging... but less plastic has got to be better for the environment. Thank you.

This item arrived safe and packaged in an envelope.There were three red wax melts in the packaging.As experienced wax melter, these seemed to me like a toy type. They barely stick to paper and do not hold at all. The material made has a weird texture and no clear colour, has some sort of shine to it.I do not recommend this product.

Sealing wax arrived unpackaged unlike illustration which is disappointing as was for part of a gift, so not as shown.

Love these to use with my personalised stamp to seal my letters/cards. Looks great when used. Not sure why everyone doesn't use, they're fab. 😀
