The front wheel headset bearings in my Atlantis Merit power wheelchair wore out. I could not find any replacement part numbers or replacement parts in general. The place where we got the chair couldn’t help. We took the wheel off and my husband made a comment that these look like bike bearings. So I looked. And here’s what I found. Worked perfectly!

doesn't fit old BMX bikes, the cups are too small/loose even though the treaded buts fit the stem treads

I work on a lot of mountain bikes. Ordered these to have in my parts. inventory. Design wise these are standard basket bearing headset very similar to what you would find as an oem headset on lower priced bikes. Cartridge bearing headset is much better design imo. Upon measuring, the sizes and tolerance of this headset are at spec. Albeit I haven't installed this headset, I don't expect any issues with this as a replacement. Note, you will need special tools to replace your old headset with this one. For less than $10 it's a good value replacement.
