Very small amount gives good lather, feels silky soft, will not use any other product

I love this soap. It does not dry out my hands, even after constant washing. It's very concentrated so a little goes a long way and it lathers so nicely. Very rich and luxurious. The sea salt scent is very nice as well. It's a clean fresh scent without being heavily perfumed.

A La Maison is the absolute best hand soap I’ve ever used, nothing else comes close. All the scents are amazing and it feels like silk going on your hands—and the best part, it doesn’t leave your hands feeling dry even in the middle of winter.

This is a wonderful French soap with only the purest ingredients in it. I use it as my shower soap and it is so kind to skin. And the scent is marvelous. Because it doesn’t have all the junk in it, it is low lather, but totally worth it.

I have an extremely difficult time finding liquid soaps that do not irritate my sensitive skin. I wash my hands a lot so they tend to dry out, and most soaps cause my skin to get itchy and irritated. I have tried MANY different brands and this is by far my favorite (and this is my fav scent from the line, too). I have been using this exclusively for several years and subscribe and save is a great feature!

I had originally purchased this hand soap at Whole Foods and loved it. I decided to buy a package of 4 from Amazon. Unfortunately, the plastic container is thin and when you push down on the nozzle, the plastic container bends. After finally using up the 4 bottles, I just purchased more at Whole Foods and the plastic bottle is thick, sturdy and has De Provence on the side. Definitely not the same product online though the hand soap itself smells the same.

There are three items of note with this hand soap. First, I am not a fan of the Sea Salt scent but that’s simply a personal preference. Second, the product itself is somewhat watery for liquid hand washing soap. Third, I checked the bottle to find a “made in France” notation but could not so I’m now questioning whether I’d mis-read the ad for the product. The pros are the reasonable price point, quick delivery and the fact that my husband will use any hand soap I place at his disposal which leaves me free to use the three bottles of the Rosemary Mint scented soap.

The scent is beautiful and you only need one pump of soap to get a good lather. It is mild and doesn’t dry out your skin. I use this in every bathroom in the house
