most wonderful product
My neighbor seems to use an air compressor and power tools with banging about every two hours in the night time. Even with ear plugs, i needed something to take the edge off. The crickets and waves combo under my pillow help a great deal. You can pick some a large variety of sounds and slide the individual sound up and down. The on/off cue sound is appreciated so i know i am conserving the battery charge. The hard case protects from the sound selection being changed in the middle of the night. The length of cord is good too. This is a well designed life saver!

Works great for the most part
The two outer buttons are obnoxious at best. The rest are wonderful. Hate the fact that you can't lock the buttons down. Sitting at a desk, no problem. Wear it in your shirt or pants pocket while working and you'll get more noise than you can imagine.

Maybe a great product, but not for side sleepers
Before I explain why this this product fails for me as a 'side sleeper', let me present a general review of the item. It has several advantages over competitors that I've tried, so if you sleep on your back or face-down (do people do that?), this product may be great for you. This gadget is well designed to be easy to use in the dark without even needing to look at it. The controls are all either sliders or buttons, intuitively positioned so with one hand (or one finger) you can easily access all the item's functions with your eyes closed. What you are meant to do is place what I'll call the 'vibration box' under your pillow and what I'll call the 'control box' anywhere handy. The two boxes are connected by a generously long wire, that in my experience didn't get in my way or interfere with my movements at all. Each slider control is actually a volume control for a specific sound. That means you can combine sounds to create a custom compound effect, eg. some wind ALONG WITH some water, together. Additionally, the device has 'volume up' and 'volume down' buttons to boost or reduce the total combined volume of your chosen sound (or combination). Even with the volume boosted, there is almost no sound audible unless your head is touching the pillow (or other surface) that is physically touching the 'vibration box' (that's the 'bone conduction' thing)- so your white noise shouldn't bother other people. The seller thoughtfully designed the unit to be USB rechargeable, and included a hard-shelled zippered custom case suitable for travel. Now, as to why I'm not recommending this for people like me who sleep on their side. Side sleepers will have one ear face-down against a pillow and one ear face-up, not against a pillow. The face-up ear doesn't benefit at all from the vibrations going through the pillow - and that's the ear more exposed and more likely to be hearing the ambient noise that is keeping a person awake!

Very good item i like it!
the EWEADN White Noise Machine with bone conduction sound technology appears to offer a unique and customizable approach to soothing sounds. The ability to create a free combination of nature sounds is a notable feature, allowing users to personalize their relaxation experience. I recommend you guys!

Interesting concept, Cheaply built
I travel sometimes with family members, and I usually go without my usual sleep sounds in order to avoid disturbing them while sharing a room. I really wanted to like this.I couldn't hear it very well unless it was placed JUST right, and the unit feels flimsy.

interesting design and custom mix of white noise sounds!
This is an interestingly designed white noise machine that rather than using a built-in speaker or headphones, outputs sound to a wired small near range speaker. This works well for 2 reasons: 1) it doesn't disturb people in other rooms and 2) it avoids the discomfort associated with wearing headphones / earplugs. The sounds themselves are pretty good and the quality of the sound output is also nice surprisingly. The controls are modular and you can mix and match different sounds to generate a unique white noise signature. I really like the idea and this is one of the most unique white noise machines that I have come across.

Noise machine
This thing would be awesome for the right person but that is not me. I struggle with a lot of "white noises" but I liked the idea of frequency so decided to give it a try. The one sound it played that was more like a frequency I could stand was bells or gongs and I'm not a fan. The water and gurgling sounds made me cringe. It offers a few different noises that might appeal to some but I couldn't do it. You put this under your pillow and I felt like it was vibrating my pillow and the noises were not my fave.

A good white noise machine, but you had better sleep on your back.
As a white noise machine it worked fine. I wish it had rainfall and not thunderclouds. I could hear the sounds even with three different thicknesses of pillows I have. If you are looking for a bone conduction (where it doesn't use speakers but vibrations to make the noises), this will work. It's sounds are clear and loud. There are some downsides. The way it's built feels cheap. The knobs for each of the sounds was unnecessary. Unless you want to combine sounds which you won't. It lets you lower the volume which was necessary as it was too loud at first, but it's still too loud even at the lowest setting, I want it barely being able to hear it.Also, unless you sleep with the back of your head on the pillow, it's going to be too loud. If you are a side sleeper you will get the full amount of sounds in that one ear. It's rechargeable, you could hook up bluetooth to it, and it has a sleep setting if you want it to turn off after a while.
