Nie Quality ~ Works Well ...
Got one of these to enhance an old relic ... a one of one signed Fender Strat originally held by a 'now deceased' very well known rock guitarist that I've had for quite awhile which had been leaning against a wall here all covered up to elude dust, etc. It had just recently become another wall ornament. Then happened upon this product and glad I got it. Install had been ez enough once I figured out where to have it semi-permanently rest and the workings of the lite by remote were simple enough to figure out. Nice having the 10ft cord reach - oh yes the cord ... how to hide. Well it took a lil imagination thou this axe isnt sideways its hung nearly vertical and where its at the lites adorning a corresponding wall which had also been placed for best renderence to its object so its nearly vertical where I could run the cord nearly immediately behind another object - hence no issue there once figured out n finally concealed. The selectable dims work fine and easily found the right one for the job. The product looks as good as what its representing (well naw not quite - lol) but its a good piece for what was needed and used for. Have no complaints and found no issues with it. Had been thinkin - why did I choose the 'golden finish' - have nothing near gold around here - then theres the Strat - theres some gold leaf over some of the other tones its finished in - hmmm - cant blow a pic up on here but take my word for it - so far a few others that seen the setup gave the 'wow factor' so ges it was the ok choice in the end. N' now just to think of all of u that elected the 'black' finish - I've got enuff black n' clear glass around here everywhere and all I can say is ..... 'dust'. Just get on with it while I can skip over this one for once - even if for only a lil while longer. This is a good product and very satisfied with it.As far as the axeman - may he rest in peace as well as the piece of art he once held is now - good day.

Very Nice Light for the Top of A Bookshelf NOT for a Painting
I have to start with something negative, because it actually led me to use the way I did.In the gold color it is not that nice looking, to be quite honest. Some people might like it, because it has a more yellow green type of matted shade of gold, but it's not really my thing for being a focal point over a picture or painting. With a modern painting or photograph, I could imagine it looking good in black, but the gold is just not that nice. And there is actually a second negative. The remote seems set up wrong. The Off button is the On button and the other way around. The buttons at the bottom also seem to be wrongly set. At least on first testing it, if I pressed one of the bottom buttons, it would not stop cycling through the blinking, and fading, and whatever else. It would just keep going. I had to unplug the light for a bit to reset it. I am not going to be using those bottom buttons for anything, that's for sure. A change in daylight vs warm light would have been more useful. That all being said, if you can get over the cons below, the light is useful and able to give a comfortable light. I ended up putting it on top of a bookshelf, and it works for lighting the top shelf of it pretty nicely. I do like the light it is giving as well. It does get really bright if you need it.The remote, aside from being set up wrong, is useful, and it means you don't have to do any wiring work. Just plug and play.In summary, there might be better lights, than this one. Even though it is probably not the worst either.I do think that this would be priced more adequately in the $20, and not over $30.That negative out of the way

Decent Picture Light, with a few quirks
Pros:Long Power Cord. Decent construction and the option of hard wiring it to an electric source is really nice. Lightweight. Comes with 2 remotes and the remotes have batteries included so you don't need to hunt down an odd sized battery just to get this set up for use.Cons:Can only be controlled by remote unless you are hard-wiring it in (a simple on/off switch on the power cord would have been a better option). Some of the buttons on the remote use yellow on a white background and it's almost impossible to know what they are supposed to do. You basically just have to try pressing them and figure it out. Remotes seem fairly cheap and I'm not convinced they will last the life of the light. The Quirky:Lighting options include a pulse/fade out and strobe, as well as light the full length/width of the lamp or slightly narrowed light channel. I have no idea why you would need any of these features. Generally speaking if you are using a picture light as an overhead light for a work space or to light a picture you probably don't need any of this. The other options (10%, 25%, 50%, 75%, Full) are fine. Frankly I'd prefer foregoing the remote control for an on/off wheel on the power cord and keeping it simple.

Poor Quality
Was put together crooked we could not straighten it out so light was at a tipped angle toThe light was not the type of tipped you would want! Too bad it looked good in the pic and description.

Sturdy All Metal Light
This light is weighty and all metal. It is as descibed by the seller. It comes with two remotes that seem to work well. No special wiring needed, just plug and play. The power cord is a generous 10 feet long. The light is capable of producing a great deal of illumination if that is desired. Personally I don't have any need for the various modes it is capable of doing. I don't really have a need to strobe light the painting on my wall, but to each his own. I am very pleased with this product and believe you will be as well. Therefore, Dr. T. highly recommends this item!!

Works great
Looks very nice above my bar to light it up. Love that it comes with 2 remotes so there is no searching for the switch. Very sturdy and very easy to put up. Love how you can put the light on different modes and brightness. Definitely worth the money for this!
