lots of fun from the swing!
Good quality item. The fabric is thick and doubled and the touch is soft. The bolts feel strong as well. The instruction is clear enough for me to set it up. The only thing is that need to be careful how to hang the swing with the seam on top (they did mention it in the manual though). My 2 boys love it a lot for sure!

Huge Hit!
The Kidzone Double Layer Sensory Swing has been a big hit with my grandkids. We are extremely happy with the solid, secure, safe materials used in the swing, straps and hardware. As you can see from the pictures, the heavy weight double thick loop and strap are approx 3/4” wide. The seams on both are sewn together with multiple rows of tightly woven zigzag stitches. The swing itself is double layered tightly woven fabric that has a satin like feel. It is an approx 50” wide band connected with a securely sewn seam. The seam goes at the top and, when it is hanging, bears no weight. We have been using it on an outdoor swing set using the loop and the included carabiner as per included instructions. We have not left it outside overnight, the carabiner makes it so easy to hang and remove. In the short time we have had it my grandkids have used it in a dozen different ways, sometimes both in it at the same time, but their favorite way to use it is alone when they need to regroup, when they want a quiet, alone place to read or play or when life just becomes too loud or overwhelming! I think I may need a second one.I tried it out - I weigh 154- and felt comfortable and safe, it easily held my weight. We have not, however, been able to figure out how to use it as a hammock. Every time one of us has tried, we have ended up with our legs sticking straight up so our bodies form a V. That is not a problem because I was looking for a cocoon swing. It is perfect for that. My grandkids absolutely love it. I highly recommend it for all kids and adults, not just those with sensory needs.

Nice Fabric | Sturdy Hardware | Uncomfortable
Sturdy Build, Uncomfortable Design: 4-Stars Overall. The sensory swing arrived with sturdy hardware, and I appreciate the thoughtful detail of the elastic fabric, which [ostensibly] adds versatility to seating comfort. Both my 7-Year-old and I agreed, we could have done without the silly print on the fabric. While the swing is marketed for both children and adults, both my seven-year-old and I found it uncomfortable for more than a few mins. The single suspension point caused the fabric cocoon to push our heads uncomfortably forward or hang out to the side, making relaxation difficult.Ultimately, we replaced this sensory swing with a hanging fabric chair after about a month of use. The hardware is still hanging tough.Pros:Sturdy hardware: The swing comes with well-made mounting equipment.Elastic fabric: The stretchy fabric provides a comfortable and secure feel (for some).Cons:Uncomfortable design: We found that the single suspension point creates an awkward sitting position for both children and adults.Childish print: The fabric pattern may not be suitable for everyone's taste.Limited use: We found the swing to be uncomfortable for extended use and eventually replaced it with another option.Overall, the swing has some positive aspects, but the uncomfortable design and limited usability prevent me from wholeheartedly recommending it. It might be a better fit for younger children who don't mind the single suspension point, or those not solely focused on comfort (spectrum). Worth note: we were not able to position ourselves in a manner such as the relaxed little girl in the representative photos.

Plan out your swing spot first
I have 2 boys and 1 has adhd as well as sensory processing disorder. It's hard to describe if you don't have a child with this condition and I feel like each child that has this diagnosis processes differently anyways. I'm also suspicious if my other child might also have this diagnosis but presents differently. Nonetheless, I got this sensory swing for my boys to help them feel safe and calm in a space as well as decompress when they are feeling overwhelmed. One of our boys this swing works hanging from his bunk bed, however the other boys bed does not allow for this and so we had to get a standalone stand. Not ideal in my opinion but it was separate from the swing. The swing comes with Hardware to attach to the ceiling which we did not utilize because of the stand. However we did utilize the carabiner and cord that adjusts the height of the swing and it works quite well. I have tested the swing with my weight which is much more than my 8 and 6 year old and it holds no problem. The fabric is quite thick as well as doubled up so it is much stronger than some of the other swings that are just a single layer. However I'm not sure if for the child the textile or feel of the double layer or fabric has any effect on them. If your child is sensitive to certain Fabrics this one shouldn't bother them as it's quite silky but you never know what might be too much for a sensory child.

Perfect sensory swing.
This is a very simple designed sensory swing.. it's just one giant loop of material and then it gives you very easy to follow instructions on how to wrap the provided adjustable cord around the material to hang it up. It has a slinky feeling to it with a slight stretch to the material but not so much that you fall down when you sit in it. And actually it's our favorite sensory swing out of the several we have. The grandkids love it, the teenagers love it and so do I. I put a chair cushion in the bottom of it and sit in it with the grandkids and we have an absolute blast.

Silky polyester
The material is made out of the silky polyester similar to cheap basketball shorts. If I would’ve known this prior, I do not think I would’ve purchased as this material tends to not feel very nice and has a tendency to snag. It did come with all hardware and is easy enough to install, but if I was to purchase another one, I would be more vigilant on seeing what type of material the swing portion is made out of prior to purchasing.
