Good hanger.
It’s a hanger. Well made, very sturdy, does just what it’s made for. Might buy a second one, eventually.

THICK plastic hanger
This hanger is definitely not your average clothes hanger. It's built THICK to withstand significantly more weight than the average flimsy ones. The hook part also has a 90 degree rotating swivel lock which allows it to stay in the position that you left it in. The swivel lock is strong enough to ensure that the hanger doesn't rotate on its own, which is a nice feature. However, being made of plastic still means that it is not going to withstand the weight of really heavy equipment. This hook begins to show stress and bends when I try placing my fully loaded plate carrier on it with steel plates front, back and sides, mags & ammo, all pouches full, and a hydration plate. I am almost certain that it would break if I left the full weight on it - which is how I need to use it. However, if I hang just the vest and plates, it is fine. This is inconvenient to me, because I was hoping to find an inexpensive alternative to those metal plate carrier hangers. If you're running a bare bones setup, then these hooks will be fine for you. If you're fully loaded and hoping to hang this, I'd recommend going for a metal one. If you used plastic plates, or maybe even some lighter weight ceramic ones, then you'd probably be fine. Didn't work for what I needed it for though.

The rotation helps with set up and inspection
I use heavy duty hangers for a variety of purposes. Some are range equipment and some are scuba equipment organizers. This stacks up well with the other heavy item hangers I have used. I did notice the bar ring is not as open as other heavy hangers, but it does fit all the wood and metal bars I use for heavy storage. This one is probably going to be for body armor set up as I like how the hanger rotation allows me to set up each side while still on the bar. I can just turn the vest to work on the other side. I guess I can do this with Scuba BCDs as well. Good for set up, inspection, and storage. Note: the rotation is in 90 degree increments with some sort of detent.I wanted to see what this rotation hanger could hold. I put soft armor carrier with internal plate carriers, each containing an AR500 strike plate and it held and rotated fine. I added a range bag to the weight, mostly empty but still holsters, inert sidearms, electric ears, several magazines, and still had a couple hundred rounds of small arms ammo, so it had a bit of weight. All combined the hanger still held fast and rotated easily.Overall, this holds much more than I would normally store on a single hanger.

Great for scuba buoyancy compensating devices
I ordered this hanger specifically because the product listing called out that it could be used to hold scuba buoyancy compensation devices (BCDs). For this purpose, the hanger works very well.Pros:Easily strong enough to hold a wet BCDThe rotating hook allows it to be hung in a position most suitable to the area. For example, when I'm allowing the gear to dry outside, I need the hook in one position, but for storage, I need it in a different position. The hooks and slots included are useful for hanging smaller items, such as gloves, masks, etc.Cons:The only negative thing I have to say about this hanger is that if you don't get things properly centered and the hanger tips to one side, everything slides to that side because the main support rail is very smooth and slippery. It would be nice if there were some sort of texture to help prevent slippage.Bottom line: I'm very satisfied with this hanger for holding my scuba BCD and other gear. Recommended.
