I’d say it sure is. Previously I’ve owned LaCrosse and Ventus weather stations, this is by far a superior and well designed device. Sensors wirelessly connect to a (tiny) powered hub unit which connects (via an Ethernet cable) to your home broadband network (so be aware a local network Ethernet port is needed).It’s very simple to set up, download the app to a phone or tablet, scan the QR code on each sensor to register with the WeatherHub service, give each sensor a name and bingo you’re monitoring the environment. Super simple, great design and well thought through product.I’ve calibrated against wet and dry alcohol thermometers and UbiBot temperature/humidity sensors; the WeatherHub sensors all register within tolerance (though humidity is a bit slower to respond to changes). Rainfall is accurate compared with a standard Snowden pattern manual gauge.The weather data is displayed only through the app (see screenshots) and presentation is good and clear; there is no physical base station/display. The only disappointing thing is the lack of a Barometric Pressure sensor in the pack. A sensor unit is available but it’s a separate product and although it will register and display on the same WeatherHub app as the other sensors, it’s not fully integrated in terms of display the data graphically.This is a great TFA product and a great deal for what’s included from Blooming Weather, you will not be disappointed !

I have had been monitoring temperature, humidity, rainfall, wind speed and direction for two days now and the sensors have all been performing well and as expected. The hub was easy to setup on my android phone and the sensors connected easily once I allowed the app to access the camera. It should be noted that the data storage is not done on the hub but on a TFA server on the Internet and for all three of my sensors the storage duration is three months. Data can be exported to a CSV file which is emailed to you. There does not seem to be a way to access your weather information from a PC unfortunately. Overall I am very pleased so far, (I know it is early days yet) with the weather station. UPDATE: The wind meter has been running for seven months now and the bearing has just seized. I have called the supplied twice now and left messages to return my call....nothing. So I have ordered a new bearing (~£2 for 10mm x 5mm x 4mm) and fitted it. All working again.

Works really well, Each sensor works very well being able to place them in different locations and Radio signal is strong. The App interface is very old style and could do with modernisation and allow more then the standard 3 sensors on the Dashboard screen. This would be very useful when using a large Tablet to view. Also a PC App would be useful.

This is a fantastic piece of kit. It’s my 3rd weather station and the best by far. The App is particularly good and all the kit seems well built. The anemometer also has a solar power source which is great as it’s installed on the roof.
