Good adhesive
I’m using it on my fishing kayak. The adhesive holds pretty good.

Peice of crap.
So I thought these would be a good addition to my fishing gear.A couple of tiny problems though. the stickers adhesive is super weak, and it doesn't adhere to itself so it kinda looks like crap. The only good part is it was 6 bucks so I'm not out much.Yet another disappointing purchase.

Handy
My brother uses it when he just wants to quickly see what he caught, mostly recreational. But it does the trick :)

Does not stick
Product did not stick on my rods, very little or cheap adhesive. Had to use a blow dryer to see if that worked, still peeled off and dropped on the floor.

Easy to see and use.
For the longest time I just used a marker to mark on my fishing rod the size limits but this takes it a little more fancy. Plus the regulations and size limits just recently changed so this helps. Not to mention we catch several different species in my area all with different size limits to this covers them all pretty much. Nice to just be able to hold up a trout next to the rod and know right away if you need to toss them in the cooler or back in the water.

Great
Sticks great as long as you clean it first with alcohol wipe I like that it's transparent and don't have to carry a tape measure around any more risk should lastba long time .

Convenient Measure, Concerned about Longevity
I fish inshore saltwater A LOT, and have resorted to using tape rings on my fishing rods to make fish measurement easy when I'm shore fishing (or wading away from my boat). To start, the measure is easy to read, but also doesn't draw too much attention when you are looking at a fishing rod.I chose to install these on my two 10ft casting rods (which I use for slip float fishing). The rod diameter just above the reel seat is approx. 1/2 - 3/4 of an inch for these rods. I set out to install the first tape on the larger of my two rods. I started taping just above the reel-seat handle and ran my finger down the center of the tape towards the other end of the tape. I found that tape seemed to adhere very well to the rod itself, however when the tape had to cross an eye-wrap, the adhesive didn't seem to mold around the hump of the eye wrap very well, leading to a few wrinkles. Primarily, it's these few wrinkles that I believe will make it hard for this tape to last for a while.I installed the 2nd tape on my other rod, which has a slightly smaller rod diameter. This time, I noticed that the zero "0" is not at the very end of the tape, so I took my scissors and cut off approx. 1/4" of the tape so that I could start taping immediately after my reel seat handle. This looked better, and provides a much clearer starting point to measure. I had a similar issue with the tape when crossing the eye-wraps, and think that the wrinkles at these locations will negatively impact the longevity of the tape.If this tape were a bit more flexible, I think I could have molded it to fit those eye-wraps a little bit better. If you have a long surf rod, it's possible that you have enough space between handle-eye or eye-eye that you won't experience the issue I see.Anyway, for this price point, I figure it's worth a try to see how long it lasts.
