Great for seniors
I purchased this watch for my 95 year old Aunt. She really likes it. The numbers on the face are big enough for her to see. The voice option is not very loud and a bit hard to understand, which means, for her, it doesn't help her at all. Would recommend

Perfect Gift for the Visually Impaired
I recently purchased this watch as a gift for a blind student, and I couldn’t be more pleased with my choice. This watch is designed with accessibility in mind, making it an excellent tool for anyone who is visually impaired.**Design and Functionality:**The tactile features of the watch are fantastic. The raised markers and distinct textures allow the wearer to easily tell the time by touch. The watch face is not only easy to read but also stylish, combining practicality with a modern look.**Durability:**This watch is built to last. The materials feel sturdy, and the strap is both comfortable and secure. It withstands daily wear and tear, which is essential for a student who is always on the go.**Sound Features:**The audible time function is a standout feature. With a simple press of a button, the watch announces the time clearly. This is especially helpful for quick checks, allowing the student to stay on schedule without needing to rely solely on tactile readings.**Overall Experience:**What truly makes this watch special is how thrilled the student was to receive it. She was so excited to have a timepiece that allows her to use it just like everyone else. The watch has fostered her independence and confidence in managing time, which is crucial for academic success. Plus, it has sparked conversations and connections with peers, as its unique features pique curiosity. In conclusion, I highly recommend this watch for anyone seeking a thoughtful gift for a visually impaired individual. It strikes the perfect balance between functionality and style, making it an ideal choice for a student.

Overall, a good solution for the visually impaired
I would prefer if this had a volume setting. My mom also has a hearing impairment, and because the speaker is on the back of the face it smothers the sound a bit. Also the voice is not distinct enough to determine AM or PM without 2 or 3 tries. But it is better than what she's had, with is nothing.

Good for vision impaired
This watch tells the time and date. Works well for someone who is visually impaired. When on the setting in which it announces the time every hour, it depletes the battery quickly.

I wanted to love this watch
My 93 year old mom is currently in a rehab facility. She is both hearing and sight impaired, and cannot see the time on the wall clock. She has a talking button clock, which she loves, but it isn't meant to be carried around --thus, the watch purchase. Unlike the button clock, the voice on this watch sounds computer-generated with a lot of static. It's not easy for the average person to understand, useless for those for whom the watch is designed.

very good for the price
I bought this for my 95 yr old mother who can not see well and wears hearing aides. She loves it. It is loud enough for her to hear and easy to use.

Stopped telling time at 4.5 weeks
It was great at first but stopped telling time at just over 1 month. Now it is past the return time. Lame.

Okay overall
Got this for a vision-impaired mom and overall she's pleased with it but it's not perfect by any means. The band isn't plastic which she likes but it is really long and being woven, can't really be cut off safely without a raveling problem. The face is not too big for her wrist but the digital readout is illegible. There is no light function so the reflective difference between the numbers and the back screen is so little that it is invisible to those with vision issues. Since it talks, she can use it for the talking feature but it's useless to look at so she will probably keep her old analog faced watch for squinting at when she wants to see the time, not hear it. The packaging is good and safe and the button functions paperwork is written quite large which is helpful but the info on how to use the band and how to adjust the length is written smaller in very faded pale ink on a muddy background, so useless. Some good, some bad, so three stars.

Terrible
First off this watch is on the CNIB website as best buy Well the instruction printing is so small I couldn't read it and I've got perfect vision. There is no backlight so rvrn if you could see you could read it at night. But why would a sight impaired person want to look at their watch thar talks at night? We'll because the voice function stopped working on day 3.This isn't the sellers fault but the manufacturers and the CNIB that led me to buy it.
