They fit the post
These worked well to fit snugly on our posts without adhesive or screws. Nice simple design. Durability remains to be seen, but they are quite thick plastic.

So far so good
4x4 posts are not all exactly the same size so some of these fit snug while others were super loose. I simply added a 1/4” bead of silicone caulk to the inside rim and set them on the posts with a brick on top of each one while they set. Many storms later they’re all holding strong.
