THIS. STUFF. WORKS!
I have been plagued by tree rats decimating my little victory garden of tomatoes & bell peppers. A rural, small city dweller, our backyard is heavily wooded with prime squirrel real estate-oaks, hickory trees & the like. It's bad enough those varmints eat all my hickory nuts (alas, no hickory pie has ever graced my table) but last year we put out a few tomato plants. How many tomatoes did we actually consume? ONE! Those critters even ate the green maters! This year we built a cage around the tomato plants with chicken wire...$100 plus our blood, sweat & tears. Effective, yes. But can't weed the garden. I set out three bell pepper plants, 2 green & 1 red. WELL!!! As soon as my red pepper started to ripen, bingo, stolen & consumed (just the sweet red portion) by a rascally squirrel. So I purchased this product, read ALL the reviews & product application instructions. This stuff works! I applied a 2-3" perimeter around the peppers when one started to redden about a week ago. Faithfully followed the directions. Pay attention, folks...it clearly states to set up a perimeter. We haven't had any rain but will reapply when we do. This gal is looking forward to harvest!

This stuff works
I get that peace of mind security for all my gardening project using this Uncle Ian's product. There is a constant threat from all these furry creatures in my shelterbelt which keeps my garden, house, and etc. out of the wind. I've relied on these mixtures for several gardens and none of my stuff has ever been eaten by gophers, deer, mice, or anything else. I apply it liberally up close to each plant then concentrically further out up to 6 feet. You need to reapply after a rain. Keep the unused portion bagged tightly because its really gross smelling. Be careful not to get any on you or walk through where you've laid it down.

This worked for me (squirrels)
Let me start by saying I love squirrels. It's just that they kept eating the bird food and I'm trying all avenues. I put some of the (powder) in a sock with holes cut in and attached it to the underside railing on my deck. Great to see the squirrels stop and turn around to run.

The only product I have found that really works.
Squirrels had dug innumerable large holes in all my newly mulched flower beds, potted plants and bases of shrubs. Once I had applied it, carefully following ALL directions no more holes appeared. It is very important to COMPLETELY surround the entire perimeter of the flower bed, leaving no gaps and spreading at least a few feet into the flower bed. Initially reapply daily for about five days and always after heavy rain. This is a large bag and lasts for many applications. I applied more heavily the first time. I eased up a little upon further applications. Once the bag is nearly empty I will certainly buy another.

After I applied it I felt like I'd been maced
Worked very well for a week or so. I think one rain storm washed it all away and the squirrels are back to trying to dig to China. Beware this stuff is very peppery. After I applied it I felt like I'd been maced.

It Did Not Work!
I used the product as the manufacturer recommended; apply it around the perimeter of my yard for 5 days. After the first day, the squirrels were out in force, by the fourth day, they slowed down a little, but I still have squirrels digging up my new plantings and all of my potted plants.

Works!
Keeps the squirrels out of my flowers on the deck. As expected, needs reapplication after rain. It’s a big bag, so I wasn’t worried about being too liberal. Great product. And the deer with fangs on the packaging made me laugh, not sure if you can see it in the images here.

Best product available
I have tried every product on the market and this is the only one that takes care of the pesky moles. It is easy to use and does not poison them. They simply leave because they do not like the smell of the blood meal. A bonus is that the blood meal is good for the plants in your flowerbeds.
