Highly recommended!
The media could not be loaded. Here is unboxing of Ace Hockey Stickhandling Trainer Snake 7, and I can confidently say it looks and feels solid. One of the first things that stood out to me was its sturdy and stable build. Unlike some competitors, it doesn't wobble or feel flimsy during use, which greatly enhances the training experience. What I love most about the Snake 7 is its ingenious design - adjusting the length and angles is a breeze with just a simple twist of a peg. This level of customization allows me to tailor my training sessions to my specific needs, whether I'm working on my backhand, dekes, or plain stickhandling.Furthermore, it's not super lightweight like some of its counterparts, which actually works to its advantage. The added weight ensures that it stays firmly in place while practicing, which is essential for effective stickhandling drills. In summary, the Ace Hockey Stickhandling Trainer Snake 7 is a top-notch addition to any hockey training regimen. Its stability, ease of adjustment, and durability set it apart from the competition. If you're serious about improving your stickhandling skills, this trainer is a must-have. Highly recommended!

Good, sturdy trainer
The media could not be loaded. I bought this for my 6-year old aspiring hockey player. It's a pleasure to watch her practicing with this thing. The device is sturdy and doesn't turn over so easily when accidentally touched.

Great, but not for the novice
This is being reviewed by someone with over ten years of hockey experience. My original concern when this package arrived was its weight. Other hockey training tools have a lot more weight to them. Just as I suspected, this will shift and move all over the place when it is moved. If you're experienced with weaving the puck without touching the tool, then it's great. But if you're still learning how to stick handle and might be a little sloppy still, this might cause a lot of frustration. All that said, it bends as it should so I love how it gives new and different options every time I train. I can put it at different locations on my shooting pad and practice some of the obstacles that might come up during a game. The bending changes easily which is a nice feature for a quick change-up in the middle of a session.I would buy this again.

Basic, Affordable Stickhandling Trainer
Right before my 40th birthday, I decided to take up ice hockey, since I had wanted to try it since college, and decided I had better start while I still had time to enjoy a new sport. Maybe due to this late start, one thing that I've never really mastered is stickhandling. I've used dry land shooting pads to practice moving the puck around, but I didn't really have a simple way to create structured obstacles that wouldn't go flying if I hit them accidentally. This foldable stickhandling "snake" offers a convenient, portable option for developing your stickhandling skills. It's made of plastic that feels durable enough to last through the rigors of hockey practice, but manages to be relatively lightweight—though you wouldn't want to haul it, say, on a long hike. With a foldable shape that you can bend into a variety of different configurations, this "snake" lets you hone those small, close-quarters movements that can make the difference between retaining the puck or having it snatched away by an opponent. Folded up, it's about the length of your arm from your elbow to your fingertips, and you could fit it in a good-sized backpack. Some reviewers have complained about the trainer shifting around due to lack of locking joints and the balance of weight. I'm planning to try grip furniture pads under the joints to remedy this problem, and will report back on whether this helps.Overall, this is a solid stickhandling aid that is relatively affordable for casual players like me, and I'm excited to be able to hone my skills at home!

3 of the 4 members of our household play hockey, so this was a great purchase to improve our stick handling skills. An added benefit is this thing is built well and has taken a beating from Green Biscuits being passed through it. We often use this to fill a Defenseman's role in a lane and pass through it. It has taken some serious hits from errant passes and is still going strong. The flexibility of design patterns let's the kids try something different every time they use it. The only thing I would ask for, and not sure how to do it universally to different surface options, is some way to secure it in place. It can move pretty easily and there's no way to lock in the position.

Useful for Practice
Those is great for at home hockey practice. We built a backyard rink for our son (very small) for him to practice puck handling and this came in extremely handy and has helped his performance significantly
