This Works!
My waterbed has suffered from algal build-up over the last couple of years and the only two options available are a)replace the mattress at a cost of between £300 and £500 or b)use one of the solutions such as this. Do not be under any illusion that the waterbed conditioner will do this - as I understand it, the conditioner only stabilises the tap water which is used to fill the bed. Even if you drain and replace the dirty water in a mattress, you still have the contaminant in the mattress, particularly sticking to the fibre baffle inside.A couple of months ago I bought this Aquashock and over the course of a couple of weeks the odour has markedly decreased. I will put one more bottle in and keep an eye on it. Although not cheap, it's a sight cheaper than a new mattress!

Does what it needs to do
It does what it says on the tin as they say. Odour not too bad. I spilt a little on my hand and it washed off straight away, which was a bonus.

Very happy fixed our very smelly bed
Our waterbed very suddenly developed a very strong disgusting smell of stagnant water which actually started to make the house smell bad. After a double dose of Aquashock treatment, washing all the bedding and wiping the vinyl with the appropriate cleaner our bed is as good as new.
