Drawing Birds with Colored Pencils Paperback – 7 Mar. 2014

I had thought it was about British birds but it was solely American birds. I didn't therefore recognise any of them so it's hard to know how accurate they were. The techniques shown however seemed OK.

This is a beautiful book with gorgeous pictures of birds, its nice to own just to look at the pictures. But it does give serious tips with projects to follow on how to draw birds in coloured pencils, and is a really excellent teaching book. I so far, have drawn one bird and am amazed at what I have produced!

A beautiful book but I was a little disappointed with it's picture content as a large number of the illustrations are of American birds and not English..

This is a very informative book. I was a little disappointed that all the subjects were American birds. This was not made clear in the advertising.

the book itself is excellent. with an excellent section on anatomy.unfortunately it is an american book and non of the illustrated species are native to Britain
