Just get one
This is my second Sonic Care toothbrush. First one got left in a motel room, after years of service. Being in late 50’s and really needing to watch dental issues - this device really helps. Replaceable heads aren’t super spendy and get places many others can’t. I like the 7100 series models over the 6000 model series simply for flexibility of settings but that’s just more of personal preference rather than actual functionality. If you’re on the fence - just get one. You’ll like it, and it will last you as well.

Better than oral B
Previously, I owned an oral electric toothbrush and used it for several years without much of a complaint. With that said, I thought the battery did not last as long as I had hoped and got considerably worse as the years went on… But that’s to be expected.oddly, the oral B mold to grow in its pitted surface, which was highly undesirable. Also, I did have issues with swollen gums. Oddly, the oral B mold to grow in its pitted surface, which was highly undesirable. Also, I did have issues with swollen gums. I just decided after doing some research.Comparing oral be and sonicare that my next purchase would be a sonicare. I have now used it for a couple of months and must say that it does a superior job. The design is better no mold growth. The battery last longer. And it does about a job of cleaning below the gum line Period in my research. In my research, I read that sonicare had a better track record of removing plaque from below the gum line, thus allowing for better gum health.. This is proof true in my experience as I no longer have issues with swollen gums. I highly recommend this product.

Sold on Phillips!
In my opinion, Phillips electronic toothbrushes (there are many to choose from) are the best on the market. I may be biased, but I've used them for many years and still chose to purchase from Phillips, when needing a new one. BTW, brushing my teeth twice a day, mine have lasted for years before I had to get a new one. The warranty is very good as well. The toothbrushes have three settings, from "soft, medium, and advanced", so you can ease into using it. It cleans beautifully without hurting my gums, and I haven't had a cavity in years. (Caveat, I also use Phillips electronic water tflosser twice a day---another fantastic tool from Phillips.) I realize that this review may sound like an advertisement. It isn't, I'm just sold on the Phillips products that I use.

Believe your dentist recommendations
I have wasted all these years thinking “bla bla bla whatever you say dentist” and finally decided to try out her recommendation for this toothbrush . I will say the first brush felt weird but after the second one you are hooked. Your teeth feel so clean. I am honestly shocked at the difference to manual brushing. How crazy.

Works well
My dentist specifically recommends Philips Sonicare. I really like how it brushes my teeth. This is my 2nd Sonicare toothbrush. I had the 1st many years before it finally died. I gave it only 4 stars because the handle is too smooth and a little difficult to grasp without slipping a bit. To remedy that, I looped a rubber band around the handle. It was a simple fix, waterproof and works well.

Love this SoniCare toothbrush.
This replaces a 20-year old SoniCare toothbrush that died October 2023. Philips SoniCare has amazing quality, so I bought another. This particular toothbrush has a battery that lasts a full 2-weeks between charges. It beeps every 30-seconds so that you can spend 30-seconds on each quadrant. It leaves your teeth amazingly clean. Love it! Money well spent.

I have used electric toothbrush brushes for 20 years. This is the best one I’ve ever owned! My teeth feel so incredible clean - as if I was leaving the dentist office!

Teeth feel much cleaner
I've used both the Oral-B IO series and now the Phillips Sonicare. I think they both get the job done but the Sonicare seems, at least to me, the better option because of the brush strokes. The Oral-B rotates back and forth while the Sonicare brush head stokes in the same way I would if using a manual toothbrush, albeit much faster. Takes some getting used to the noise and vibration but once you get over that, I like the Sonicare brush. This particular model seems to be a winner also. I'll probably turn off the brush replacement signal as you can see the bristles begin to fade at the edge as a signal to replace.

Item number on Invoice and Physical brush are different
The Item number on Invoice and Physical brush do not match. My brush became defective after 14 months. Manufacturer warranty is 2 years. But they are rejecting the claim saying item number does not match. Seller is not responding. Waste to buy on amazon.
