Very Impressive.
As many other reviewers have already stated,do not buy your usual size - they are very generously proportioned!The upper material is very soft and the tread is surprisingly thick,yet very flexible.I have not used them yet as I bought them to use for launching and recovering a boat but they seem very suitable for this,where grip is important and thick soles needed for pebbles.The velcro fastening is very good and will take up any slack in terms of fit.I normally wear a size nine in shoes but,after reading other comments,I ordered size 8 and they are still a little loose - but,as I have said,the velcro ensures they stay on your feet.I would recommend these shoes.They are comfortable and the soles seem to be hardy and well designed - they grip really well.The cost is really low - well worth the money,in my opinion.

not for very active use, beach wear good, water sports not so....
not great for really active swimming as velcro is not enough to keep them attached. Good sole, good grip, good on pebbles, better than demented leaping about trying to pretend it does not hurt, that is for sure.If you are pottering around on the beach then all well and good. If using for water sports I would suggest a corded adjustable option.Great price and service.Different folks, different strokes I guess.

Very good service
My normal shoe size is 4.5 so I ordered 5 to be on the safe side. However they were far too big. I was going to send them back but they gave me a refund without me needing to. I then ordered size 4 and they are just right. I haven't yet used them in water but they feel comfortable and of good quality so I am happy!

Great beach shoe but sizes come up larger than expected
These types of shoes have become increasingly popular recently and are great for going in and out of the water, especially on a pebble beach, they really save your feet.My actual foot size is nearer a 9.5 but as you don't often get the option of half sizes I buy size 10 shoes which almost always fit me just fine.However, I initially ordered these in a size 10 and they were way too big for me, especially as these are meant to be a snug fit.I returned them for a size 9 and they're much better but my feet have still got a little bit of wriggle room. If my experience is anything to go by then maybe try a size down from what you're used to.

Sizing description too vauge
Bought these to use in the shower/pool and nothing wrong with these except they were child's size 13. My mistake but the listing was rather vague! All resolved with the seller and I'm happy with their resolution.

Value for money
These shoes are cheap and cheerful, I got them for kayaking and they are fine for that. I’m a size 10 but ordered a size 9 after reading other reviews and they fit pretty well so I agree order a size down! Think people need to understand that you get what you pay for, these are cheap shoes for what they do, if you want high quality shoes then pay the extra £20-£30 for them, if you want a cheap pair of water shoes for water sports etc then these are for you!

Great beach/swim shoe but had to order smaller than usual size
Really pleased with the purchase. Normally size 7 shoe, I ordered 6 and 7 and found both to be too loose. I had read that beach/swim shoes need to fit snuggly so returned those ordered and order a size 5. It is perfect. Great beach/swim shoe but I advise buying smaller than your normal shoe size.
