Perfect! Just what I was looking for.
Just what I was looking for!Small light weight radio that I can carry with me and listen to music when I ride my bike.Headphones are nice.Sound is great!I love the pre set channels (M1-M5)Plus you can just search for stations as well.Easy on off button on the left side with volume and search on the right side.Large easy to read screen and an antenna.I added a couple photos of the radio on my bike. It's perfect for just enough music to listen to on the ride without being overbearing or to loud. But it does get pretty loud for a small radio! And its easy to go from one channel to the next with a touch of a button. Also, it looks bigger in the photos when it's really not that big.Anyway.. hope this review helps.

Great little radio with great sound. Perfect for a picnic, camping, dog park or office.
Great little radio. Not as nice as the 6200 but overall a very nice unit. Great price. Build quality isn't as good as the 6200 but for 10 dollars less, I'm happy. Great sound for it's size.

Excellent FM reception
I bought this to replace a dead 1990’s Walkman that I used to listen to FM on the beach (with headphones, of course!). The Walkman struggled to receive a weak FM station, and was often overloaded by stronger stations. I wanted a replacement with good FM reception. This radio is far better than the old Walkman. Even with its antenna unextended the reception was solid, regardless of where the radio was placed. I highly recommend this radio for weak signal FM reception. Audio quality and the radio’s features are great also. 6 stars!

Great weak AM signal capture without any noticeable EMI.
This is probably the best digital display DSP radio powered by 2 AAA batteries. The main rationale for this aspect is I use the weakest AM signal I can find to judge the signal capture ability of a radio, (especially DSP) as audio production determines how much enjoyment one can receive while listening to a station AM or FM, most DSP radios have a lot of noise/EMI from either poor filtering of digital display feedback or even the timed delay circuit used to activate the backlight LED for a specified period of "delay" for the display.I've had to donate quite a few DSP radios as any unit unable to meet the most basic parameters gets donated, now granted, my requirements are much higher than someone who listens to clear channel AM stations and almost any DSP radio can "suffice" for most clear channel AM station listening, granted, I don't spend a lot of time listening to any flame-thrower stations as I don't require constant reinforcement of a particular political bias to get through each day.Since I've discovered that it's usually the weak, low power stations that have the most critical voices behind the microphone, having low noise in my DSP reception audio is critical for my listening enjoyment.Oh, and like most DSP radios, it does fine on FM as well, just make sure you use quality AAA batteries if you wish to avoid battery leakage damage if you tend to leave batteries inside the radio even if you don't listen to it frequently. The only flaw, (albeit a rather minor one) is the lack of a sleep timer as there is an on/off switch and that's it.Nice big display too, good for people with a lot of "tree rings" whose eyesight isn't what it once was when we were all just "saplings".

Not bad for $20
Not bad for $20. The display is huge and easy to read. The sound is good enough. The manual tuning is clunky thought, as it wants to jump to some presets that were not set.

I really wanted to like this radio
It is the perfect size, so portable, and had great reception. I bought this to listen to the radio while I was on long walks on the weekend. It worked. For a few weeks. Then some times it would work, other times it would not. Finally, after about 4 months of primarily weekend use, it just stopped working. Of course, right before Hurricane Beryl (I'm in Houston) when I really would have appreciated a small portable battery operated radio. I tried new batteries. I tried switching the batteries. Nothing works. It turns on, but no reception, no functionality with the preset stations. The lights are on, no one is home. Will be looking for a different product.
