I do a lot of artwork with my science research and I use this product as I travel and in the field. It is perfect size and great storage for anyone.

The only downside to this product is the white charcoal pencil will not sharpen(the end keeps breaking off) and the sharpeners are not very effective. Other than that, the rest of the kit is great.

I ended up keeping some of the supplies and others I ended up replacing with higher quality supplies but for anybody who is just getting started this is a great set that allows you to explore a lot of different kinds of drawing tools and store them in a convenient carrying case.

This kit comes with every size Drawing and sketching pencil you could possibly need as an artist. It also comes with rubbing pencils, rubbing/smearing erasers, erasing erasers, various density erasers, multi colored erasers which I still haven't figured the use for. It's got charcoal sticks, a hand sharpener, replacement blades for the sharpener, cutting tool, a white charcoal stick??!! Nice! It's got a pen, and this little board of papers which I'm assuming are to prep your drawing utensil for work.This little kit has EVERYTHING an artist could need except for a drawing pad itself. lol.For the price, it's an absolute steal with everything that it comes with.There's no way to give this anything but a solid 5/5

All I have to say is don't sleep on this KALOUR 58 Pack Drawing Set, especially if they still have the added coupon available. (Though, even at their regular price, this set is a great value.) Back when I was going to expensive art stores to buy my supplies piece by piece, I would've been so happy to find a comprehensive set like this for such an affordable price. And anyone who likes to draw or is interested in trying to learn would be overjoyed at getting a gift like this during the holidays. (If they're a total novice, get them a beginner's guide as well, since the sample drawing in this set is best for those with some basic skills already, though they can also just watch YouTube tutorials since seeing each step is sometimes best when they don't know how to get started.)One of my chalk pastels did arrive cracked in half, so handle the zippered pouch carefully if you'll be giving it as a gift. Chalk pastels are still fully usable even if they're not whole, and you can even use them in powdered form with art (or make-up) sponges. I actually picked this set for review, because I needed some sketchbooks (for designing some doll outfits) and chalk pastels (to test face-ups on some doll heads), so all the other pieces are really an awesome bonus--especially with everything fitting into the zippered case. Get it & you will not regret it!
