Little Boy Brown Hardcover – Picture Book, November 5, 2013

A great story with fantastic illustrations. My mom passed this book down to me, and since we couldn't find it anymore, she had me order one for her nephew. A little known classic.

This book is just wonderful. The writing is superb. It is like listening to an adorable 4.5 year old speak aloud. Originally published in 1949, it is amazing how much the story resonates today. My nearly 3 year old loves it as well.

I am not the intended audience for this book (I'm a grownup), but I found this book to be charming. The images, though, are the real show - the drawings are just, simply, great!

The Little Boy Brown book has a Great Story and Great Drawings. We need more authors like these and people that can Hand sketch instead of using computer drawings to illustrate.

My photographer has an Original one from when it was originally published. Had to get one for my kids. It's a classic and the drawings are great! All in Brown and white print and how life is to live in the city & tall buildings. Very quaint and sweet!

This has been a wonderful book to read to my great grandchildren.

This is a delightful story. Old-fashioned and reminiscent of a calmer time, it makes the excitement of the child's day tangible, though pretty ordinary compared with today's more frantic lives. Captures beautifully the wonder of new experiences for a little one.
