Cute design, lovely sound and great high contrast for newborns. It’s also better quality than I expected, which is a relief as I wasn’t sure whether it would be getting used at the point of purchase.Our little boy *loved* this, it even kept him happy for nappy changes. I have bought multiple more as gifts for family and friends who have had babies.

Six month old baby is teething and at the stage he wants to put everything in his mouth. This long toy is perfect for holding in his little hands and also being able to reach his mouth so he can chew on it. He likes the rustling ears but hasn’t yet discovered that the feet are made for chewing on to help his teething! The silicone feet have little raised nodules/dots to help soothe a teething baby and the black and white design help draw baby’s attention to the toy.The base and head of the toy are soft but the middle cylinder is firm and strong and feels durable. I do wish the stitching on this bit was better but a little of the stitiching is exposed, which affects the appearance. The fabric convering is nice and soft, and the toy have a bell inside that gives a very pleasant tinkling ding when the toy is rattled. A sonorous and audible lovely little sound. (Not annoying and tinny.)Arrived in plastic bag and in good condition.5 stars for being such an adorable little toy.The price at time of review is unavailable for the elephant style but it used to be £8.99 a week ago which I thought was a good price. Currently, the equivalent fox style toy is priced £12.99, which I think is a little dear given that the finishing on my toy was not perfect and had exposed stitching – an identical elephant toy is being sold on amazon for £9.99 at time of writing this review.

I ordered this for my newborn to stimulate her senses. It is well made and makes great noises (crinkly ears, bells etc) which keeps her entertained and allows her to explore with her hands

Got this for my dog to play with and he likes the crunchy sound the ears make and when it rattles it sounds like bells. Plastic feet and a hard handle makes for different textures for him and it has a plush soft elephant head. He loves it. I'd recommend.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a nice little first toy. It’s soft and velvety to the touch and the black and white colour scheme is attractive.I like the spots and stripes and that the ‘feet’ are hard plastic for baby to chew on. The ears are crinkly and there’s a bell inside when shaken.The only down side I can see is that the plastic ‘feet’ aren’t stitched to the body very neatly.Possibly most people (and certainly not babies) won’t even notice.

One of our youngest family member (7 months) loves grabbing this, for the sounds it makes.Universally coloured, easily wipeable with a damp cloth when they become dirty, they are lightweight and are very soft & don't have any rough edges/corners so we don't have to worry about my youngest family member putting him in her mouth.

I love this elephant-shaped rattle for my grandson; it is very well manufactured and feels very safe and pleasant for him to explore. It's worth looking at the size of this model as it is really for 6 months upwards. Because of the size and weight, the baby's hands and arms need to be big enough and strong enough to hold, grasp and play with it. Great quality and worth every penny.
