Beautiful little bowl and matcha set, love it!

I bought this mainly because of the excellent reviews. After opening my box yesterday I began to wonder what made me pay so much for so little ! The bowl is ok but some glaze faults to the exterior. But I could easily get something equally good, if not better for a few pounds in the High Street. The packaging helps to sell the product but frankly, the amount of excess cardboard is bordering on the obscene. This product comes from Innsbruck and the simple instructions are in German. But you do get a bowl, a brush and a simple spoon which does the job. And you could pay even more for a similar boxed product. Which all goes to show how you have to pay a premium for something which is in fashion. I never associated Innsbruck with tea ceremonies, but there we are. You learn something new every day.
