This is a gift for my daughter to go with the bigger Furby so I’ve only given this a small look. Before I purchased this I watched several YouTube videos on how this works, and it seems it can be tricky to get it started as the instructions don’t specify that you have to do a long press to get it to pop open. One helpful video also suggested making sure the battery compartment screws are fully tightened as this may prevent it from working.I have read reviews on the other available Furblets and clearly people don’t understand that this, unlike Furby, does not speak any English. This is clearly stated in the item spec. It only speaks in the Furby language of Furbish. So you won’t hear it speak like the bigger Furby though it has a similar voice.The Furblet looks very cute and is fluffy and I like that it has a clip so it can be attached to a bag etc. I also like that they play different types of music so you have one to meet almost all tastes. It’s cute they have individual names and seem like they’d be fun to collect. I also love that these little guys can interact with both Furby and other Furblets.If you’re looking to buy one of these instead of the big Furby I would say this is a cute and cheaper alternative but it isn’t the same as the big Furby and does far less.

A cute little thing, like all the Furblets, with amusing rock-style music and sounds for this model. Unfortunately the Ooh-Koo (the blue striped Furblet) I received didn't work at all straight out of the box - it proved to have flat batteries, which was odd as the ears were still folded, suggesting it hadn't accidentally turned on inside the box. I fitted new batteries and it worked normally, but just over a month later and with little use, they are already half-depleted according to a battery meter - I noticed this because it was a bit temperamental and quieter today than the other Furblet models in the house (a full set!) - their batteries are still fine and they all worked straight from the box. So the Ooh-Koo I have is a battery drainer, even though it appears to shut down normally and doesn't re-activate unexpectedly. Looking at the other reviews, it seems that some Furblets (any variant) can have this type of problem with its batteries, going by the comments about some of them needing new batteries on arrival. It seems a bit pointless for me to return an item at this low price when stock of Ooh-Koo won't be available again at Amazon for 3-7 months according to the item page (as at 7 January 2023). I'd have given it 5 stars if it didn't have the battery drain fault.

I bought 2 one each for my grand daughters for Christmas. We were disappointed because we thought they would work straight out the box, but they needed batteries not the type you can buy in packs but a specific type of battery this was not indicated during purchase very disappointed

This still works but one of the ears won't stay down now so assuming it's snapped. My son loves it though!

Not happy this item did not work and when I asked them to replace it they said delivery July 2024 8 months away.
