Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star: and other favorite bedtime rhymes

I had to give this book 5 stars even though it is a 6 star book (look at the front cover and count the stars :-)This is a well made (physically in both quality and dimension) book. It contains quite a variety of rhymes many of which I remember from my own childhood 50 years ago. Other reviews have said that there is one rhyme that says "threw him down the stairs". I am not sure if the book has been revised since then or if it is a false claim, but my book specifically says "led him down the stairs". That one review almost encouraged me to not get this book and I am quite pleased that I gave this a try none the less. This book is excellent.

I absolutely LOVE this book (received it as a present and have bought it as a present for other kids). It's a sturdy plastic cover with good quality board book paper.Although there are a lot of christian rhymes and songs(and I'm not christian) they're all very good. Many of which I knew and a few I have never heard of. I highly recommend this for anyone for newborn babies and toddlers- Hush little baby- Twinkle twinkle- Rock a bye baby- Jack be Nimble

This is a book my granddaughter had as a baby. This is a book she always selected to have me read to her. She loved the beautiful illustrations and the timeless stories inside. It was a joy to read this book to her, she always enjoyed it. I purchased the book again to give to others having their first baby so that they could share the joy of the rhymes and illustrations with their new babies. I highly recommend this book.

I'm 60 and I prefer versions of the nursery rhymes that I and my kids had. These have been changed. The book has a soft cover and is nicely bound, with cute illustrations. The children won't know the difference, but Grandma can't recite them from memory since they have changed.

My daughter loves this book! It comes with several little well known nursery rhymes like twinkle twinkle little star, Jack be nimble, Jack be quick, etc. so we are able to sing to a tune when we read it to her and she absolutely loves music and singing, so this is one of her favorite books. Highly recommend.

I bought this board book to use as 1 of 2 "Guest Books" to be signed by guests at my sister's "Good Night Themed" baby shower. This worked really well and is a very cute addition for her son's nursery book collection. It is good quality made with nice thick pages.

Nice board book with padded cover and sweet, simple pictures. Includes 19 rhymes: Star light, star bright; Wee Willie Winkle; Are you sleeping brother John; Jack be nimble; Hush little baby don't say a word; Twinkle twinkle little star; Diddle diddle dumpling; Rock a bye baby; Teddy bear, teddy bear touch your nose; Come let's to bed says Sleep Head; I see the moon and the moon sees me; Red sky at night; Now the day is over; Girls and boys come out to play; Goosey, Goosey, Gander; Hey diddle diddle; Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John; The man in the moon; All through the night. This book measures about 8"x8", which is a good size and is well worth the price.

Good shape, well wrapped, beautiful board book. Didn't realize it had a lot of christian / god references but that's not a big deal.
