We've used this a few times now, both camping and at home. Overall it's a great cot. Assembly is pretty easy and it fits back in the bag well (as long as remember to pop out the feet on the crossbars). It's a quiet cot and comfortable as cots go. Depending on how you sleep, I would recommend topping it with a sleeping pad for some more cushioning, but it's a great option for someone who might not appreciate getting up from an air mattress. Haven't gone backpacking with it and probably won't, but as a family of 5 this will be great for travel since hotels rarely have rooms set up for a family of 5 and this is narrower than a twin size air mattress which has been our previous go to and about the same weight.

I did a ton of research prior to purchasing this cot and I’m extremely happy with this choice! Enough that after trying out for a few day girls trip I bought one for my husband when I got back! It feels sturdy for my weight as well as my husbands (I’m 115lbs he is 180lbs) however I feel like it would do a solid job for folks larger than us as well! We each slept comfortably for a 4 night trip on them. My first trip I did without adding a sleeping pad, for the 2nd trip I brought a pad and it definitely made it more comfortable, although it’s not a dealbreaker to go without (at least for a 34 year old back 😉). The biggest plus is how small it breaks down which is a huge help when trying to get all our camping gear in the car! With that said it is heavy when disassembled so I personally wouldn’t recommend for a backpacking trip, but that’s just me. Assembly is quick and the directions are easy to figure out! For the first time I did assemble it at home prior to the trip just to make sure I wasn’t trying to figure it out squished in a tent and that definitely helped! Great addition to my camping equipment!

I used this for 2 weeks and not an issue, very comfortable for me which is saying something. Some people complain not easy to set up, it is very easy to set up.

It's decent and sets up fast, but the legs are a bit clunky and take up more space when packing than I would like. Once broken in it's ok, but it creaks loudly when you move on it.

This was a last minute order and it arrived as stated it would, and just in the nick of time.The entire cot folds down and packs into a nice and compact sized zipperd bag. It assembles easily without the need to pry on end pieces, like the old style military cots.I slept on this cot for a full week at a recent Buffalo Roundup, along with my cowboy bed roll and have never slept better.I'll be purchasing another one for my wife for upcoming outings.

Set up was easy. Legs lock into place tight. Lightweight and sturdy. Flat and supportive. Easy / quick to set up and break down.

Very compact and easy to assemble, and seem sturdy. We’ve used them for a couple weeks of camping so far with no trouble, and they take up almost no space in the cargo carrier! Assembly/disassembly takes about 5 minutes per, but I could probably get that down to 3.5 minutes if I were training for the cot-assembly Olympics.The trigger latch to release the legs is a little nerve-wracking at first, but I’m also scared of popping biscuit cans so take that for what it’s worth.

VERY STURDY. THE DOWNSIDE IS THAT FOR LARGER PEOPLE IT MAY NOT BE WIDE ENOUGH....I WOULD LIKE TO SEE A 30" WIDE PRODUCT AND POSSIBLY A BIT LONGER BY 2". IT DEFINITELY HAS MUCH MERRIT.

I (39 F) can assemble this on my own albeit, the last part is tough going. But this is really comfy and quiet too when lying on it/turning/wriggling etc. First time I used it I was a bit chilly but when I put my jumper between it and my sleeping bag, was much better. So maybe a lightweight blanket or towel or spare clothing would help.

We really liked the product but it broke on the third use.Sportneer have been great and we’ll be giving it another go. We have brought another previously which was grand. Hope the new one will be strong and stable like the other!
