A quirky budget entry with a lot of potential
I have had mixed experience with CCA and other IEMs under the KZ brand, but this one stands above almost all for its potential. With little effort, you get a set of IEMs that compete with sets that cost more than double the price. My only concern is with long-term durability.Unboxing is the typical budget experience. IEMs, a basic assortment of tips, lackluster cable, and a sim tool for changing the tuning switches. While this is enough to get you going, I would highly recommend you upgrade the cable and try alternative tips to get the most out of this set.Out of the box, tunning was set to all for switches being on. I did not know what to expect but was genuinely surprised at how good these sounded. Tuning seemed to lean toward consumer-friendly and fun, but the timbre came off as natural. The imaging was precise and gave a better-than-average amount of separation for this class of IEM. The soundstage could be described as intimate, but not overly compressed. Honestly, this might be the best-sounding set of $20 IEMs I've ever tried from KZ and its affiliate brands.I have only two minor complaints in regard to these IEMs. First is the tuning switches. They are difficult to adjust even when using the provided tool. Most individuals will only need to set the switches once to their desired preference and leave it there, but it is a personal choice. In my opinion, such an addon like tuning switches seems unnecessary for this price point. It is a potential failure point that doesn't need to be added to the mix.The other potential challenge is the quality of the materials. The outer shell (faceplate) is solid, but the interior plastic is a little thin. Also, the nozzles are a little larger than other IEMs I've owned, and the filters are somewhat delicate and might become dislodged. A common issue with the plurality of my budget IEMs is the loss of function of a single driver, and while it has yet to happen, it is something I worry about. In summary, this is one of the best budget IEMs I have tried in the past year. It is a great entry point for emerging audiophiles due to its excellent value-to-performance ratio. I would absolutely recommend this for anyone looking at the sub-$50 IEM market as these IEMs provide most of the benefits from those models with only minimal drawbacks.

Punches above its price class
This are very enjoyable IEMs. They have a sort of gentle V sound, which creates are sort of warmish, wide soundstage with above average detail reproduction, and with punchy bass and high ends that pop, but without much clarity and sizzle, especially with hi-hats. The first thing I did with these was to turn of all the tunable switches, and so that I could hear the original sound without any modification. I prefer the original graph, I find. These come bundled with a tool for tuning the switches, and spare silicone tips. No foam tips are included. The cable is non-spectacular, but it comes with a right-angled plug. I tested these with a Behringer audio interface streaming music from Youtube Music and Spotify and from my own personal collection. These are definitely worth the price they are selling for.

Spoken word headphones
These are interesting headphones. The description on the product claims that the audio is to par with Harman audio equipment. In the highs, sure, the lows not so much. These are great if you are seeking clear spoken word headphones, I find them to be super useful for podcasts and audiobooks. If you are looking for something for dynamic music listening, look elsewhere, these have absolutely no bass. The product you receive is also very interesting. The ear buds and cables are not connected when you unbox the product. You have to look very closely at the cable to find which side is the right side, and the buds themselves do not have markings for sides. They have switches on the earbuds themselves, that you have to use the little metal tool they include to be able to switch on or off. The instructions claim that these increase the dB of the Bass... I noticed no difference as I switched off each one and switched each one back on. The buds are also quite heavy. I appreciate the materials they are made of and that they include multiple rubber bud nubs, because my ear canals are rather small, so having the option for a smaller insert is appreciated. The wire then loops over the ear to hold in place, again something that was appreciated. The only issue is, because the buds were so heavy, my ears began to ache from the weight after about 30 minutes of use.For cheaper ear buds, they are a great value, but I would not say these are necessarily for the audiophile.

Fantastic inexpensive iems
These are exactly like the KZ KRILA aside from the outer shell being shaped differently. Same switch setup, same amazing sound, but they dont come with memory foam earbud tips and are a few bucks cheaper. So I guess im just gonna preface this with that info and repaste most of my review of the kz krila iems. Safe to assume this is the same manufacturer and this is just another one of their brands.I have been daily driving Beyer Dynamic DT770 PROs for years and I love them, but Im kinda in aw at how good these iems are. They have dip switches to change the sound profile but honestly I dont notice much of a difference (if any) between the settings. They feel a little bright but im gonna assume they need a little break-in time and should probably mellow out a bit with use, but right now Im very happy with these.Comfort is great, sound is great, only thing thats bad about them is the cable is super short but I can just buy a replacement longer cable so its not a big deal.Frankly, at the price point these are an easy recommendation for music, gaming or movies, they sound great. Hopefully they have legs and will continue to perform. Will check in later and update as needed with any info I think is relevant and might help folks.

Really Nice Sound, Adjustments are on both Earphones
Package included the earphones, the cable which has ear loops and plugs into the earphones, additional silicone tips for the earphones, and a small tool to flip the switches on each earphone to adjust the sound. I used a 32 bit USB C to 3.5mm analog audio jack adapter and tried several pieces of music. The sound is quite good, does a good reproduction of sound across the entire spectrum. Bright accurate sound without any noticeable weak spots. The monitors/earphones are mostly clear plastic and you can see the elements inside, they look nice, even though that is not really relevant. The adjustments are pretty much focused on either increasing the low frequencies or all the frequencies, but they came with all the switches on which would increase all the frequencies. Very nice monitors at a good price.
