A handy "third hand" for tight spaces.
Had to replace the oil cooler on my truck and was having a nightmare of a time reattaching the cooling hose, which was down in a barely accessible valley. After struggling for a long time, I ordered this tool after seeing it mentioned in a Youtube video. Very easy to use and I had the hose attached in less than a minute. Not a super heavy duty tool, but for something I hope to only need infrequently, it's solid enough.

Great tool for hose clamps.
I'd seen this tool for some time but did not want to buy one until I had to remove and install a bunch of original hose clamps. What settled it for me was when i used my usual pliers to install a clamp on a radiator hose. As I compressed the clamp with the pliers and used my other hand to slide the clamp down to position the pliers slipped off the ears of the clamp and the clamp snapped closed. With my fingers still on the clamp the snapping action really hurt my fingers. I bought the tool, used it half a dozen times and it has worked perfectly.

Broke: didn’t complete its first job without help
I purchased this tool to assist in collapsing those big GM radiator hose clamps. Go the tool on the hose clamp and attempted to squeeze the clamp. The locking wheel on the tool stripped immediately preventing the tool from ever locking in position. The problem is, the teeth on the wheel that locks into the mechanism and very small and shallow. So the locking pin just slides right on by. In order to get these tools to work, I had to get a wood clamp, put it on the handles of the hose tool and compress the wood clamp to compress and hoist the radiator clamp tool. Once I created the hodge podge tool, I was able to get the job done. DO NOT PURCHASE GBIS TOOL. Find another.

100% worth the money
I previously had replaced a water outlet on my 2011 Cruze. It was such a pain because the clamps were so tough to work with on the hoses. When I had to replace another one, I bought these pliers and omg they made the job so much easier and faster. Do not hesitate. Get these now.
