L'Oreal Stylista The Braid Hair Styling Milk, 200 ml

My hair is very straight and fine and therefore will not hold styles on its own but is also constantly and inexplicably getting matted and tying itself in knots if not brushed regularly. I can't use heavier products to tame it like curly girls can or I look like a weasel dipped in grease. It looks glossy and wavy when I wake up but the second I run a brush through to untangle it- POOF! I look like a shocked lion. I'm also a complete novice at braiding so trying to braid what feels like angry wispy candyfloss is very difficult.All that to say: I really like this product. You can run it through dry or damp hair and smooth all the fly-aways into more manageable locks, and it gives you plenty of time to adjust and fluff up your braid. It works like a very light gel, lightly setting your hair without feeling crunchy, in fact you can't really feel it even after you brush the braid out. It won't cement your braid in place all day, which is fine because no one wants a stiff braid, but it keeps it a lot neater and prettier throughout the day.The only thing I don't love is that the coconut scent has an odd chemical undertone to it, but I don't know if that's just me? It's not very strong once it's dry and everyone else seems to like it. Either way, I'll still use it and repurchase!

Really good for doing any type of braiding. Helps handle the hair but dries and doesn’t look wet or greasy! Highly recommend. Does have a strong sweet smell

Saw this advertised in a magazine as a product to help keep plaits neat. Bought for my daughters hair and it really helps to keep the fly-away bits to a minimum. Smells great too.

Great for plaiting my little girls hair as it’s still quite thin, made it a lot easier to grip and stayed in, also smells lovely

I use this every time I plait my hair and it works a treat! It helps hair stop being so slippy when it’s wet. Only a tiny amount of product is needed and it helps your hair stay in place throughout the day - whether you styled it while wet or dry. I’ve used this product most days for around 4 months now and I’m only 1/4 of the way through. Would definitely recommend this product.

Works a treat on fine hair! I used this for the first time yesterday. My daughter has quite fine hair so I spritzed her hair a little and added the braid milk to one side at a time. Done her hair at 7.30 before school and hair is still in 24 hours later (there are some fly always loose) best buy this year!!

I bought this product, to hoping to make Dutch braiding my daughters waist length hair a bit easier. This product is quite slimy and has an odd smell, which my daughter couldn’t stand. I didn’t apply a lot, but it made it harder for me to braid her hair, because the slimy texture caused her hair to clump together in thick strands. I won’t but it again

Amazing for braiding! My hair is quite fine and short, I was skeptical buying this but it gave my hair grip and made it so easy to braid.Will 100% buy this again.Only downside, doesn’t smell very nice but once it’s dried I can’t tell.
